answer 4
The grill is made for use with propane gas and can be converted to be used with natural gas. To convert to natural gas you will need to purchase the conversion kit from this site, the model number is VFK1001W1; it is my understanding that this kit is currently out of stock but should be back by around 5/21/14.

Yes, the cooking grids and warming rack are stainless steel.

2 Questions--is your grill covered when not in use? Will the other 2 burners light with a match or other way to do it & what do the flames look like? If you've cleaned the burner "holes", preferably with a bent paper clip, the problem might be in the line from your tank to the grill. Also, the burner tube, not just the holes, should be cleaned out. I've used a vacuum cleaner with a "blow" function on it. Where we live we've gotten spiders & such in the tubes of other grills we've had. Important to keep the grill as covered as possible.

It comes with an upper rack.
It looks like a really nice grill, but don't leave it outside in the rain.

I had this grill and returned it.

The assembly screws are not made of stainless steel. So, it's designed to rust away in a couple of years.
Instead I picked up a Char Broil.
Even that had a few screws made of regular steel, but it was only a handful, which I replaced at the local hardware store..
And while I had it apart, I repainted the base with a rust-o-leum heat paint.

To check if the screws are really stainless, hold a magnet to them. If they attach to the magnet, they are NOT stainless steel.

Please check out the review I submitted on Walmart.com. It is made mostly from Stainless Steel, so rusting shoud not be an issue, but there are no rust proof grills. There is also a nice Stainless upper rack.

This grill shouldn't rust easy as it is stainless steel. It is not poorly constructed as it has cart and frame support bars. It has a nice size warming rack inside as well as a rotisserie w/motor. It also has a infrared searing burner, the right burner. After searching all over for high BTU's, I was impressed with size, style, easy assembly and price. I would always use a good cover. Try inexpensive ones on Costco.com

You do not have to convert this grill to natural gas in order to use it. It will run just fine on a tank of propane.
