Question

What size should I get?

I just recently had a baby. I am 5'4" and about 165lbs right now. I wear a size 14. I have thicker thighs, so I'm torn between a L and XL. Which should I get???

I'm a little bigger all the way around and went with the XL. It fits comfortably but isn't tight. If I were you, I'd start with the L. Try it on before you take the tags off but I think you should be OK. Good luck!

Large! I am in the same boat (size 12 post baby) and the large fits me pretty well. an xl wouldn't have the same slimming effect.

I am also five four, had a baby recently and weigh about 165-170. My thighs aren't really big though but I bought a large and it fits so perfectly. There is wiggle room. The L fits really well in the bust, butt and tummy so I imagine an XL would be a little too large. Might fill up with water like a balloon in the pool. Cheers.

Are you planning on losing weight? Even if you order the XL, it will fit you just fine.
The lycra in the suit will help and you'll feel good. I'd recommend the XLG for now.

You'll feel good in this suit.

I am the same heigth as you and weigh 10 lbs more. I ordered the XL because I thought it may be sized small due to the low price. I was wrong. The XL was way too big in the hips. I reordered a L and it fits well. So I would recommend a L for you, as well. It is a darling suit.

Hi, I would suggest the XL. If you have a store near by I strongly recommend trying one on there and ordering online for the print or color you want. Im a dress size 14, wear a 0 in torrid tops and 12 jeans there. Im 5'1 and weight 164, 40D and ordered a 1X which fits heavenly. It doesnt feel tight at all but enhances all of my curves.
Im ordering another one next paycheck =)
oh and if your nursing these halter types are perfect for easy access.

Because of the shirring and the way sort of boy short fit of the suit on bottom I would not expect shorts to work well with this suit.

answer 7
The "skirt" in front won't go inside shorts very well...it'll look weird. And because the "skirt" is attached at the sides, the shorts won't go under it. However, it fits around the leg/butt/crotch area much like boy-leg shorts, so you may not need the swim shorts at all. I hope this helps!

I don't think shorts will work with this style. You could probs do a swim skirt over it, but I don't know why you'd want to. It's adorable on its own! It's worth investing in a different cover up option for this suit if that's your aim... It is seriously beautiful!

It might be a little uncomfortable. But if you really want, you could wear shorts with it. Mine sits just below my crotch, but you could move the fabric a little so it wouldn't interfere. I wouldn't recommend short with this though.

Question

I need help with sizing

Some people are saying that these suits run big so im not sure what to get. My gut tells me to get a large but they are sold out. Can anyone tell me if an XL will be too big??? I wear 12-14 pants; have big butt and legs but smaller waste and chest-38B bra. I usually have a problem covering my legs and bottom in bathing suits, it tends to spill out, will this cover everything?

Do NOT order an XL! Try a medium...you ma be surprised! Especially if you're small on top. The full coverage bottom will *hopefully* be plenty even in a medium.

Honestly from what you've said I think an XL will be too big for you. I ordered a large and it's a bit big in the bust and i'm a 38D! Granted, it's only a little big in the bust but still! For reference i'm 157 lbs and wear a 10/12 in pants.

It looks like they just got some larges back in now too!

Hope this helps!

I have bigger thighs and always feel like that is all anyone sees when i wear a swimsuit so usually only wear the boy shorts, but i really like the cut on this one. I am small chested as well and the large was way to big up top, when i bent over you could see straight down. (34A)

In my experience it ran true to size. I read that they ran big too, so I went to the store and tried on a medium, which was too big in the butt area ( I am lacking there). I got a small and it fit perfect, and according to the measurements that is the size I should be anyway. (I am a size 4 pants with no butt, lol) The nice thing about this is cheap shipping, and you can always do a return/exchange in the store for free so if it doesn't fit you aren't put back too much. I ended up getting 2 suits, black and aqua, both smalls and both fit great. As far as the bottom coverage, it covers the tops of your legs and thighs but doesn't go down more than a few inches. If you are bigger in the bottom area I'd try a xl, because honestly that is where I am lacking and a small did fit. A medium fit me everywhere but there. I'd get it! Such a cute suit, I love it!

I have a shape just like you described I am a size 14 on the bottom and same size chest, I have a small waist and relatively flat stomach with large butt, hips, and thighs. I wear a medium shirt. I ordered the red in an XL because they were out of the L and it fit perfectly! I wore it yesterday to the pool for the first time and got tons of compliments. One lady even said it looked like a very expensive suit. She was shocked to hear it came from Walmart:-) I forgot to mention that I am only 5'1".

Question

I need Sizing Help ASAP Please!

I am going to the beach with my friends this weekend and I need a swimsuit ASAP! I am 5'4, wear a size 13/14 in jeans, a 38C-40D (depending on the sizing) in bras and am about 135 lbs. Should I get a M/L/ or XL. I'm really concerned about the breast area. I don't have too much of a butt so, if a medium is good for that then I feel safe because I keep seeing comments on how the boob area is pretty spacey (more than what people expected.) I am only 20 so, I'm fine showing some cleavage (not strangling them) if it means my butt isn't saggy looking.

I'm 5'4, 150, waist 9-10 and a B cup. The medium fits perfect for me. The bust is a little loose, but fine. So in your case probably the XL if you say you're a waist 13/14. I didn't think the suit ran big at all. I would be more concerned with the waist and back not squeezing too much rather than the bust.

I have a size 36F chest and a M is plenty of support/coverage for me. I am also 5'6", about 140lbs, size 10-12. I find this suit to run large, so I'd definitely stay away from the XL. As for the M or L, since this is a compression suit, I think tighter is better. I'd probs go with the M...

I just had a baby and am currently about 140lbs, 5'2", and 38C-D. I tried a med and a large and the med fit better, especially in the butt area. You can tighten or loosen the halter top if you need more room. You won't be jogging in it, but I felt like I was held in well enough for swimming and walking around.

Question

I don't know what Size I should get?

..Or if they even have my size. I wear a size 16-18 in pants and a 40D in Bras, so it's pretty obvious that I am not a skinny mini. I am thinking an XL? If they had it I'd get a 2XL just to be safe but I have been looking for a bathing suit that is make like this that isn't going to break my bank and this is the only one. I don't go to the beach often so what's the point in buying a $90 suit If I am only gonna use it 5 times Max every year? It's been 7 years since I bought a suit, I was still a size 16 in pants, but a size 30C? In bra and I had bought a size 9 which was a little big on me. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm a 16/18 (edging more on the 18 lately) and a 38 DDD and I ordered an XL. It's a tad bit snug but definitely not so tight that it detracts from the suit. It really depends on how you like your suit to fit. If you want more wiggle room I'd look at the plus-sized version, but otherwise I love the look and feel of the XL on me.

I do not think it is a maternity suit because our Walmart does not carry maternity clothing in store, and this suit is sold in stores. However, I am almost five months pregnant and just bought this suit. Because of the stomach support, it will be perfect to wear during pregnancy and after my body returns to normal.

However I am not quite that large in the bust, but the bust area of the suit has the most stretch I think, compared to the stomach and leg areas. You can always order small and medium and return to store whichever does not fit...

You will definitely need the small, and that may be too big for the bottom

I'd say small. I am 5'7, 130, size 4, 32ddd, and got a small. Although the suit inst very supportive, I don't feel like I am going to fall out either. I do wish the suit ran a tad bit more in length, but its not a big deal...so since you are shorter but we are the same size pants I'd suggest the small.

I also wear a 4 and purchased the Small. The top part was a little large for me (I am a 36B) and I had to add cups to mine. So it should fit you.

I am a size 4, 5'5, 36B, "S" fit perfect on top but too tight on bottom ( I have fat leg). I tried "M" it fit well for the top and ok for bottom but just a little loose. feel more comfortable on "M".
hope it helps.

The small should fit you fine. The bust allows for plenty of room for larger busts, but also has padding for smaller busts. Also, the halter ties at the neckline so you can adjust to make the bust cover as much as you need it to.

I would go to the store and try it on. It is a pretty tight fit so maybe a medium?! I am not so busty(C-cup) (but there could be some room for bust)but a size 8-10. I bought a medium but in saying that... If I wore a size 4 and had a 38D bust I would be rocking a bikini. ;)

I am 4'10, size 4, and 34DD, I too have the same problem you do. I say go Size Medium. Its ok for the bottom to be on the looser side and truth is, there will never be a size that will really fit OUR size bust at a SMALL but put it in a MEDIUM and it should be fine! I LOVE Walmart's bathing suits of ALL other places!!!!! Get ONE before they are all sold out!!!!

I wear a size 12 bathing suit, so what size would I need for this bathing suit? A medium? I have a small frame, 5' 1" but a bigger bust (36C). Thanks.

I'm guessing that you would be fine in a medium. I normally wear a 14 (large-xl) and the large fit just fine on me. I wanted it a bit more snug to support a bigger bust. Very happy with the fit. Hope it works out for yah!

I just bought an XL and I am 36c bust but wider hips and 5'3. If you have a smaller backside the L would be a good fit.

I usually wear a 12 because I have a longer torso. I ordered a medium after reading reviews and it fits great. Look at the photo, rear shot, it is NOT a skin tight suit, but very flattering

They have a sizing chart, that's what I followed. The suit is stretchy, so I wouldn't worry about ordering it too big.

Question

Need help with sizing please...

I weight 145 and wear a size 10 in jeans and have a 36D bust. Should I get a size Medium or a size Large? By reading some reviews I am uncertain of what size to get.

You are around my size & I purchased a Medium black polka dot. The suit fit me perfectly! Not too tight but great coverage, definitely flattened my stomach area. However I am a B36 which is quite a difference from you. There isn't much support in the top area so you might seep out a bit, if you don't mind some cleavage then your good! If you want more coverage for your girls you might want to order up a size, I can't promise the suit will fit right in other areas though :/ I say order 2 & send one back. Return is super easy & you have nothing to lose =)

It sounds like you might be around my size I'm 36DD and I also wear size 10 in jeans. I ordered large and it fit great I have large hips and thighs so that part more definitive for me medium would have cut into my thighs. I followed the size chart based on my hip measurement.

I am 5'9 wear a size 10 with a 36DD and I ordered a large. I actually ordered a l and xl. the xl was to big. So i recommend a M. U can always order m and l and take the one back that doesn't work.

I'm 5'4 and 164 pounds, bra size 38C. I ordered the b/w dots in a Large first time round & it was too big! I have the same tummy problem after having my baby & the L size didn't provide much control since there was too much extra material in the torso area (& backside, I don't have much of one). I re-ordered in an M (it was out of stock for quite a while but finally got it) and it fits perfectly. It's rather tricky, you sound like you are small in frame but larger on the bust. I'd say you are a M or S, (definitely not a L!) a little spillage of the bust adds to the Monroe look!!! If you are still not convinced (I know the dilemma!) Order all the sizes & return what doesn't fit coz' only certain store carries them & they have been out of stock online at one point...especially size M very popular!

Hope this helps!

Hi Sam,

I usually stick with inches (they can't change from one maker to the next)

I'm fitting well into a size large with
Bust 42" (a little small over all, but workable)
Under bust 31" (a little big, but not TOO much)
Waist 30" (great fit)
Hips 38" (great fit)

Hope this helps
