YES, THEY ARE. IN FACT THEY HAVE A TRACTION RATING OF A AS WELL AS TEMP RATING A. THIS TIRE MAKES MY BUICK GO LIKE A SHERMAN TANK IN THE WINTER. I LIVE IN NORTHER PENNSLYLVANIA, SO I KNOW ABOUT WINTER DRIVING. NO OTHER TIRE FOR ME.
