Phillips head screw driver

Pair of pliers with cable cutting ability

Allen keys, and some box wrenches/sockets/adjustable wrench. I suggest adding grease to the bearings first as there is not enough in/on ALL bearings. If that is to much take it to a local bike shop (LBS). My front wheel was a little out of true which takes a spoke wrench. Easy fix with knowledge. If all this is to much, LBS.

answer 3
No, I am a 5'3" female, and while the top bar is close, It does not feel too close. I like men's bikes because they are easier to get on a bike rack!
Just got the bike today and road 7 miles around town. Mostly great, but when I got it home I needed to replace one of the bolts for the back fender, it was loose and making lots of noise. I think it was a metric bolt so I just switched it out. Now it rides quiet.

I will say that the gears do need adjusting, and the lowest gear is about 4th gear on hybrid, meaning I had to ride standig up to go up steep hills.
The pedals are cheap, so if you like toe-clips you will need to change the pedals.
Otherwise, really bike to ride around town.

You can easily do it yourself, or you can take it in to Walmart and they will assembly it for you.

It sounds like you dont have the knowledge to do it yourseld. So ship to local Walmart for free assemble, or to your house and take it to a real bike shop and they will assemble it correctly and fix some of the minor issues for it. That's not free but is the best option.

Question

What Is The Front Tire and Tube Size?

I purchased this bicycle from a Wal-Mart in Georgia about a week ago while 900 miles away from home while dropping my son off at college. Now, a week later, I am home and my son is at college with a blown front tire and no means of transportation to get anywhere to have it repaired. Can you please advise what size tire and tube I need to purchase and send to him? Very disappointed in this product.

It's a cheap bike from cheap parts and labor. That's why you should consider, as you are in a most inappropriate position, replacing with a good 700C by 35 tire and tube. Tubes with Slime and tired with Kevlar or some kind of puncture resistance to them. Also a flat repair kit. Flats will happen to ant kind of time. Mine are fine so far. I expect them to fail.
Also buy so rim tape. A trip to a local bike shop (LBS) will help you considerably.

700c Schrader valve tube. Sold at Walmart for about 5 dollars but maybe Schwinn could send a new one.

Hi John,

Thank you for your question. The 700c Schwinn Men's Admiral has a frame size of 20 inches. The tires measure 700c X 35c. This divides out to approximately 27.56" x 1.38". This model bicycle would be designed for the taller man, that needs more leg room.

Question

What is the difference in Admiral Leisure & Admiral Hybrid

There are two different options to choose from (Red-Hybrid and Blue-Leisure). What are the differences? I see the hybrid has a different seat. Is there anything else?

Admiral has white wheels and a thick seat. I believe the leiser might have some upgraded components. Maybe. I bought the Admiral for the color and was cheaper at the time. The hubs are junk for heavy duty commuting as I am going to be doing so a hub upgrade for either is in order. Amazon has wheel sets with shimomo hubs fairly cheap. That would be a huge leap in the performance of the bike.
