Do all 3 outlets have to be used or can one only attach two hoses and shut off the 3rd?

You can attach any number of hoses from 1 to 3.

Simply do not program a start time for the faucets you don't wish to connect.

Don't set the third. It will have dashes on the screen. If you have set it and don't want to used it any more, RESET the timer and set station 1 & 2.

By clearing the programming on the stations that you do not want to use, you can, indeed, use only one port.

I have one of my timers set up for watering schedules on 2 nozzles and occasional hose use on the 3rd...which means it's off until I want it. So yes...you can use just 2.

Each outlet is controlled separately. I'm using the timer with only two hoses connected and haven't had any problems.

I do not have this exact model, but I do have an older Orbit two-station version. Mine allows me to set the watering time for either station to zero minutes, so it won't run at all on that station if desired. I would assume this three-station model allows for the same. See the picture I've included (the third outlet on mine is for a manual bypass faucet).

Question

Does this allow individual timed control of each port or only all 3 at one time?

Would like clarification if this lets you set each port separately or does it just allow 3 connections that all must come on at the same time.

you set each port individually.

In fact, you can cause ports to malfunction if you set them up such that two ports try to open at the same time.

answer 2
You can program each outlet individually with limits. The main program decides how many times a day each outlet runs and then you can program each outlet for a separate time. Or you can just have it repeat every 4 hours or so.

answer 5
This timer will allow individual timed control of each port, but not all three at once. Each port can have one timed schedule on it, and they all must be set for different times.

When I installed mine it was fine. Then I twisted the whole unit. It began the spray. I turned the connection to tighten and it stopped. I have two units and it happened on both and I tightened both with no problems since.

Will this unit allow me to set multiple precise start times per zone as opposed to starting every "x" amount of hours?
For example if I want a zone to start only at 6am, 10am, and 3pm each day for 30 mins. is that possible?
