can i use a motorcycle batt

answer 1
Should use a 12 volt battery.. Marine deep cycle would be preferred but any 12 volt battery that fits inside should be ok.. However, consider your power requirements so you don't have to recharge too often.

answer 2
Sure, but the charge isn't going to last long.

answer 3
A motorcycle battery will run the motor but not for very long. Best bet is to get a deep cycle marine battery to get the most time from the battery. It will run $100+ for a good battery, but it will be worth it.

answer 4
If it is a 12 volt and unless it is a size 24 or 27 it will either be too big or too small and rattle around though it would be useable.

This should be a Deep Cycle assuming you are using it with a trolling motor.

No, you need to buy a separate charger. The charger can be connected and used without recharging the battery. I use the Schumacher XCS15 15/10/2-Amp Marine Battery Charger from WalMart, and like it a lot.

This is not a battery. It is a battery station. It fits a group 24 or 27 preferably deep cycle marine battery. I would not recommend charging a battery while it was connected to the power station, as it has several circuits within it.

Does not come with battery, just a batt. case to put a batt, in. besides a batt. case it also has a 60 amp. breaker to protect trolling mtr. and a 10 amp. breaker to protect !2 v. charging circuit (to charge phones, 12 v. cordless tools, etc.), batt. cables that hook from batt lid to batt. terminals on side of box. Batt. box itself weighs about 2-4 lbs. The battery weight is whatever the one weighs that you will buy for the batt. box;

I have only had mine for a couple of weeks but I have charged it using the external binding posts and that seems to work fine. The binding posts are attached directly to the battery internally so I don't believe that there would be any issues charging this way.
