answer 2
I read all the comments on how it leaks, but still went ahead and bought it. As I expected people dont read instructions. If you fill your cup under the max line I promise you, you wont't have any leakeage problems. The reason is when you "pulverize" the contents in the nutri bullet it needs that extra space in the cup, to allocate for what you are blending.

Hope this helps.

answer 3
No, it should not leak (mine dosen't) however, you have to be careful to fill it just to the MAX line. If it is overfilled, while it is whirling, the contents inside seem to get bigger and bigger, and then it could leak. (Ever whirled skim milk even in a regular blender? Doubles in size) Hope this helps :)

Only if you don't screw the blade cap on tightly. It doesn't leak if you make sure it's tight because the gasket works well (which should never be removed according to the manual). It's pretty well made.

Question

Anyone do a Comparison between NutriBullet and Ninja Kitchen System?

asked 2 years, 2 months ago
By
RadarEngineer
 - Long Island, New York
on NutriBullet Nutrition Extraction System, As Seen on TV
9 answers
Answers
answer 1
I have the nutri-bullet and Ninja kitchen 1100 blender. The bottom line is the nutri-bullet works the best at breaking down food and extracting the nutrients. The nutri-bullet is best at what is does. It is a single purpose system. All those ninja kitchen blenders have several uses. But the ninja has way better ice crushing power. The ninja does not mix the food as good the nutri-bullet. The newest ninja has a 16 ounce cup with a set up like the nutri bullet. But I don't have that system. Even so, 16 ounces is very small. The nutri-bullet has 24 ounce cup and 18 ounce cup. If you just need a single purpose machine for making your nutritious drink the nutri-bullet is your machine. Plus it is a lot cheaper than the ninja kitchen system.

I have used both. I used to juice and did not like the idea of throwing out the pulp from the juicing process. Plus, the
clean-up of a juicer is complex. The NutriBullet combines the juice and the pulp of whatever fruit or veggie you put in along with some water added. Clean-up with the NutriBullet is a breeze! The
Ninja is like a blender and does not have the power like the NutriBullet.

answer 3
As another person stated, both products are good. It comes down to what exactly are your needs.

IF you are only wanting to make "smoothies," etc, then the NutriBullet would be best suited for your needs. It is also less expensive and takes up far less counter space, which is one of the reasons why I got rid of my juicer that ended up just collecting dust. A juicer also separates the "pulp" from the juice. The 'pulp' is the most nutritional part of the fruit or vegetable.

The Nutribullet is much easier to clean. Look at the "YouTube" videos for "real life" demonstrations from real people that have purchased the products.

I'd say the Nutribullet has a better way to make things flow and cut by it's blades more efficiently. It's like it's got a circulation advantage. The ninja Kitchen System you cannot operate for longer than 7 seconds, if i remember well (my friend had it). The nutribullet can be used up to a minute without stopping; which gives you a better consistency in your drink.

answer 5
To a fellow Long Islander (I am now relocated), my brother has a Ninja and yes, it's a good product, but I don't want all that space being taken up in my kitchen or on the counter either.

If you go to the manufacturer's website, they even have a travel bag available, so it is all about convenience. I wouldn't want to change my health regimen just because I went on vacation or visiting family in NY. So, although the Ninja is great, I'm a devotee of the MagicBullet and now the NutriBullet systems because of space, convenience and performance.

Yes the Ninja is 1000 watts and the NutriBullet is 600 watts. Both have BPA-free plastic. The Ninja has a 72 oz pitcher with blade comparative to the NutriBullet, which has two small cups and one large cup, which is about 20 oz, the extractor blade and the milling blade. Hence, this product is really suited for the person-on the-go who has no time to lug out big appliances like the Ninja and wash all that out...

So, the choice is yours, but I hope this helps!

I have both. The Ninja works much better on solids and frozen fruit. I believe the NutriBullet works better on leafy greens. The NutriBullet is easier to clean, and the Ninja is better made. The Ninja can make a lot more at a time. Even the large cup that came with the NutriBullet doesn't hold much, and mine cracked after two or three uses. The Ninja is loud and sounds like it's gear driven. Actually, kinda sounds like an outboard motor.

"Magic Bullet did have some models that were 300 watt. The Nutribullet is 600 watts." You can see the difference in the consistency of your drink. It's amazing, just like baby food if you put little water.

I think the main difference is the nutribullet has more power. It doesn't bog down as easily as the magic bullet did and the cup size on the nutri bullet are a little bigger.

The NutriBullet is larger, uses different blades for liquefying fruits and vegetables, skins and all. Also a much more powerful motor.

The Nutribullet is made especially for making the Nutri drinks. The motor turns at 10000 rpm's cutting everything into very small pieces that mix forming a drinkable liquid. It will cut up seeds and everything into very small pieces. I use Flax seed in every drink I make, and it also comes with a milling blade for cutting up the Flax seeds. I mill a cup of Flax seed and keep it in the fridge so its always ready to add to the mix when I make a drink.
