My original opion on this was season them but now I would say wash them by hand and then cook something that has oil in it such as hamburger, bacon, or put a little bit of oil in it for the first use. After that you will not need to do this again. Also make sure you wash after use. Don't let food sit in it for too long.

It is recommended to season the pans every 6 months. I would season them more often if you use them everyday.

We don't season it every time. If you boil water in it you may need to use oil the next time you cook, but otherwise it seems to work fine.

They our very well worth it and just around the same price you would pay for a good set of another brand.Much healthier you really don't need oil,butter/and or sprays food slides right out and a breeze to clean just wiping it right off.Hope this helps!!!!

Worth every single dollar you spend. Once you start with the smaller fry pan you will want the whole lot of them! I just went for the 10 piece set and purchased the grill pan and the pancake pan separate but now wish I had every available! You will not be disappointed!

You only have to season them initially. The directions state you should re-season every 6 months, but I figure if I use oil in them often, I shouldn't have to.
I believe them to be a good value, though I've only had them a week.

The instructions recommend seasoning every 6 months. It will be worth it if the finish does not end up in your family's bodies.

Worth buying? Yes. No seasoning every time, but twice a year is suggested, and I plan to season mine about 4 times a year. Cleanup is a Breeze!. Warm/hot water and a dish cloth/paper towel. Minimal elbow grease. I wanted the non stick, but the ease of clean-up is quickly growing to my favorite aspect of the cookware.

I have a smooth top stove, too, and they are working fine on my stove. As with any pot, I'm careful to not slide the pans or my cast iron pans on top of the stove.

I also have a glass top stove. I've been using aluminum pans on it since I got it several years ago. You just need to be careful and not slide the pans across the stovetop. I've been using the large Orgreenic pan for about a month or more now with no issues at all.

My guide book says I can use the pans in the oven up to 500 degrees. I haven't done that yet, and don't really cook much in the oven that hot.

Did not see any temp warnings other than pre heat the oven then place pan in oven. Do not place pan in oven prior to oven being heated and of course, use oven mits to remove pan from oven because the metal handle will be HOT(obviously, lol)

The directions for doing this are included with the pans. Very simple. We have always done this with cast iron pans, rub green inside of pan with a little vegetable oil, heat as directed for a few minutes, then cool and wipe out excess oil. Pans are ready to cook with. They recommend doing this about twice a year. Super easy.

answer 3
Seasoning is a function that was common in the days of iron cookware and is required for ceramic cookware today. Use either olive oil or salt-free butter at high temperature to form a protective film on the ceramics that allows food to slide off the surface after you are finished with the seasoning treatment.
