Yes, this model's frame is too tall for your height. I am 5'11" and I barely clear the topbar

Yes, 5'4" is too short for this frame. This is ideal for 5'10" to 6'3" riders.

answer 5
Yes, it may be. I bought this 22,5 bike thinking it would be small enough. I'm 5'55 exactly and it's one of the tallest bike I've seen. But I can still ride it. When I'm seated, i can put one foot on the ground. But if I try to stand on my two feet, I can't, the bar is too high, so I'm on barely on my toes.

answer 7
Your overall height is less important than your leg length. Search the Internet for Bike Size Charts and follow the measuring instructions to get your leg length which is what determines the size of bike you need. I am 6' but somewhat short leg and I fit a the smaller 22" frame like the 22.5" Genesis bike. Larger bikes don't give enough clearance.

It's mostly assembled. I required attaching the seat, the front and back reflectors, the front wheel and front wheel quick-release, the handlebar, and the front brake cable to the handlebar. I took me less than an hour to figure it all out with the instructions.

It is partially assembled. You have to put on the front tire, handle bars, seat, reflectors and hook up the front brake.

answer 4
'Mostly assembled'. I was able to assemble the remaining parts in 15-20 minutes, not counting the tuning. I took it to a bike shop to handle that. Front wheel, handle bars, pedals and seat need to be installed.

answer 5
Not completely, you have to put the pedals, the seat, the handlebars, front brake, front wheel... Nothing complicated. The rear tire and chain/derailleur is already all set, so most of it is done

If you're 5' 4", then this is way too big. Unfortunately, when it comes to road bikes, you're not going to find very many options in your size at a department store. You'd be better off checking into a bike shop. However, hear me out on this, there are some women's bikes that look really nice that come in a smaller size. Sometimes the word "Women's" is just a label for smaller frame bikes and there's nothing wrong with getting one if it fits you well. It's not like there is anything on the bike that says it's supposed to be for women. (I'm assuming your a guy since this is a "Men's" bike.)

No. You have to assemble a few parts yourself. It will require a few tools which shouldn't cost more than $15-20 at your local hardware store. It'll be about an hour or two of set up but after that you should be alright.

Just ask a bike shop cleark, that you need a tube for the size tires this bike has and you will be in good shape. You can also use Amazon and verify what others had purchased for that size tire as well. Last but not least, you can call a bike shop ( im not sure of the size or I'd tell you) and ask before you buy.

Yes, my friend is 5'7" and thinks that this bike frame is an inch or 2 too high. Even with the seat all the way down, he was able to ride it and deal with it, but wasn't thrilled to constantly jump down or lean to the side during stops. I think its perfect for 5'10 to 6'3". 6'3" and above should get the 25" genesis.

Get it tuned. Until then if you shift to the highest gear, then back down to second and then up shift but hold it in until it shifts this time it will shift properly... Annoying to have to work around like that but it works until you can get everything set up properly.

There's a shifter underneath on the left hand side (took me a few days to find that out) - it will shift the front part of gears.

check out some youtube on fine tuning the derailleurs. there are 2 screws to adjust the high and low. you need to put the bike on a stand or put it upside down to fine tune it.

answer 4
Easiest way to fix this is to take it to the bike shop and have them adjust the bar that moves the chain. Mine wasnt set up to move far enough to push the chain into third gear. If you do it yourself, you have to adjust the metal wire to toggle the shifter over. I couldn't do it but my dad could - this wasnt what I would describe as an easy task. Good luck :)
