Compatible with all iPods? And what about headphone jack?

This appears to be a new model. Is it compatible with all current generations of iPods? Also, is there a headphone jack on this unit?

You cannot use an iPod shuffle on this unit. There are no audio inputs or outputs including headphone jacks. The only thing you can hook up to this stereo is an iPod with a normal sized power connector.

It will not be compatible with the new iPhone5. There is NO Headphone jack. also there is NO line input.

The Sony MHC-EC609iP Mini Hi-Fi Component System is compatible with iPods as well as iPhone also. This Mini Hi-Fi Component System also has a Headphone Jack (3.5 mm).
Please refer to manual page # 1 under the heading iPod/iPhone Section to check for the compatible iPods and iPhones.

There are no audio inputs on this unit. You cannot hook up your PC or anything that isn't an iPod to this unit.

Yes it can charge your iPhone/iPod, but take note of the following:

- If the display mode is Clock, you cannot charge an iPod/iPhone even if the system is off.
- If charging an iPod/iPhone when the system is off, after charging is complete the system automatically enters Power Saving mode. The maximum charging time while the system is off is about 4 hours. However, depending on your iPod/iPhone, the system may continue charging even when the iPod/iPhone is fully charged.
