I don't think their zip code look up thing is working. It says it won't work where I am, yet my Sprint MiFi works fine. If it's on the Sprint network, and Sprint is available where you are, it seems like it should work...shouldn't it?

The one I just bought came with a $25 bonus when you installed the first $25 card.

The description of the devise said it was included. Otherwise, I don't think so, you need to buy a card.

It does not come with time on it, but when you put a refill on it the first time, they give you $25 worth of refill free - which applies after the data you buy is used up.

You need to buy a refill card when you purchase it then you get a 25 bonus 1 month refill that kicks in once you use your first refill.

It comes with a $25 card but is added to your account after you purchase your first prepaid card. The bonus $25 waits in your account until your next refill. All this is done online which makes it very convenient.

No. No data access comes with the device. Only a cloth cover, battery & charger, and instructions.

You must buy the data access to Internet on the Go separately, and use the PIN number, (sent by email if purchased online), to load the amount of data you will then have available.

Thank you very much for all the replies. It seems I didn't quite write my question clear enough. What I meant was how to get into the internet if I was on vacation and forgot to buy another 30 day pass or used up all my GB's. Well, I called "Internet on the Go" and was lucky that a live person answered the phone and understood my question. He said, the system would log into "Internet on the Go" site and would say my internet connection is not available due to "beyond the 30 days" or "GB limits have been reached" and the website would offered all the choices everyone wrote to me to add more GB's. Again, thank you all.

I have been using "Internet on the Go" since November 2012 and it has performed excellent for all my tasks. I have been buying backup refills cards so I don't lose connection in the middle of the night.

You log onto your account and refill used a credit or debit card. Or go into a Walmart and buy a refill card.

answer 3
You purchase a new card and then go to the web site.
The web site will tell you the remaining mb you have.
Enter the pin, and chose a plan. (30 day or never ending)

answer 4
You buy more on the Walmart site. I found the stores do not sell these devices or the refills. Just the web site.

When you buy a refill, Walmart will send you a code, which you then enter on the "Internet on the Go" site, and they add more data.

You can buy more GBs for your account online, you have the option of limited data that doesn't expire (my fave) or 30 days unlimited. You can also setup your account so it recharges automatically!

The Nexus 7 has wifi capability so the answer is yes. However this hotspot device is reported to be somewhat slow by some of the reviewers. Even if slow it would allow wifi connection which would refresh maps, navigation, email and alow web surfing etc.

answer 3
Of course you can use this with a desktop! All you need to do is have a technician add in a Wifi card into the computer.

Best bet: buy a good corded RTL8187-based external wi-fi transceiver kit. After installing the drivers, and setting in the security details, you'll have no trouble connecting to the Mobile Hot Spot.

A little warning: The mini wi-fi receiver buttons that just stick in the USB socket may take less space but are very prone to signal dropouts because the antenna is too close to the computer itself, a major source of electronic noise. If you're having connection issues, better try an external wifi kit like I described above.

Internet on the Go is meant to provide a mobile hotspot for Internet access via Wi-Fi enalbed devices. If you have a tablet, smartphone, laptop, desktop, or any other Wi-Fi enabled device, you will be able to get Internet by using this device. If you do not have a Wi-Fi enabled device (tablet, smartphone, laptop, desktop), then this device will not do anything for you.
