This device uses Wifi. It's wireless. No USB connections. So any device which uses Wifi (like the iPad) can use it.

Yes, works via WiFi. Although, if you plan to really use the iPad and do not have broadband at home, consider the Virgin Mobile service. The data does expire every 30 days but you get more for your money - and the Virgin device is 3G/4G, so potentially faster. If you go the Virgin route, by the device at Walmart as they have a special deal that you get twice the data for the money than at other places.

If you will use this very little (email and occasionally looking up something), then yes, this will work - if you have Sprint 3G coverage where you want to use it.

You can purchase additional data online through the internet carrier as your data expires. You can also sign up for an auto pay from a bank account for the 30 day plan. Walmart also sells the prepaid cards. After you hook your computer to the wireless signal you open your browser. Next you will be directly forwarded to the companies main page to make a user account. Pick what you want for GB's, pay, and you are set.

You buy Mb/Gb via the Internet on the Go cards sold here or you can register a credit card. Either way, you do it online with the account you set up on their website.

answer 3
You buy Internet on the go refill cards either on the net or in the store $10, $25, $35, $40 increments, purchasing .5G bandwidth or more, depending which plan (use as you go, no time limit if you don't use the device a lot or monthly--end of 30 days you buy another refill, regardless of how much you've used).

It's not on the device, it's on the device management web-app (you open it in a browser after you connect to the device.)
You should steer clear of this and look for a better deal elsewhere.
