You may not need an additional device if your desktop is fairly new. I bought a Dell desktop a little over a year ago and it was wi-fi capable right out of the box. I just turn my little device on anywhere in the house and can use my desktop, laptop or tablet. Sometimes, without thinking, have had all three connected and running at once. No problems.

Any 802.11 b/g wifi adapter that is compatible with your desktop will work. All major retailers of computer electronics including Walmart sell a selection of wifi adapters.

Check w/your computer manufacturer first and see what they suggest. WiFi adapters are available at stores like Fryes, OfficeMax and Office Depot. Probably less expensive through online vendors: Amazon, Tiger Direct, CDW, etc.

Current pricing on this MiFi device is down to $79.88 and it comes with a bonus offer after your first data card is finished. Bonus offer is for 3GB of data (30-day expiration).

However, you do need to purchase the first data card and the latest pricing can be found at Walmart.com by searching for "Internet on the Go."

Question

Does this work with zip code 19701?

Your website says that this phone won't work with zip code 19701. However, according to the website for Internet on the Go, 19701 (and most of New Castle County DE) is covered so what is going on? Does your website has an error?

It varies...
There are different purchase levels from $10 to $50.
When I bought the device in January, I could get 3GB for $25 which was good for 30 days. In the last few weeks, they have stopped that and now it's only 2GB for $25...
Also, the way they calculate usage is bad... according to the device, I've had a total throughput of less than 3GB since January, but I've used up about 14GB of refills...
They also recently restricted me (said I was a 'high usage' user... which was bogus...) I can only get about a 50KBs connection speed, but I'm a 'high usage' user???
I'd recommend going with another option...

I'm not sure on the bonus 3GB for 30 days. But if you run out you just add more. You do not have to re-register or re-activate. You just add a refill.

answer 2
The refill is automatic. You dont have to put all the info in again thats just when your first purchase it and you register your device (same thing when you get a new phone and etc...) Once your register you can check how much data is on there and refill from this website manage.internet-go.com

answer 3
Say your first refill was $10 for 500MB "go big" never expire data on 1/2/2013. On 3/10/2013 you've used your last MB of 500MB your $10 paid for, you'll automatically start using your $25 "go bigger" 30-day expire data. Before your $25 "go bigger" data expires on 4/10/2013 you'll have to do your second refill on your account.

When you run out of data. They sell 500 megabytes for $10; 1.5 gigabytes for $25 & 3 gigabytes for $45. It really depends on how fast you use the data. You can also refill with a debit or credit card.

answer 3
Buy it whenever you need it, easiest to buy online and use the auto-renew plan with a credit card. You don't need to purchase more data time until you use up all your current purchase, which might be 1, 2 or 3 years from now as the purchase does not time out if you use it at least once a year
