answer 2
Because this chair is made of leather, I expect that it will last for years and years.
I, myself, intend to get a good quality leather cleaner for it. This will keep the leather from drying out and cracking over time. You can find a good quality leather cleaner at any Motorcycle shop (good motorcycle seats are made of leather) for around $15.00 or so. There will be enough to last you a very, very long time. Just spray it on, rub it in, let it dry and buff it out with a soft clean rag. A good quality leather cleaner will also condition the leather and prevent drying and cracking.
Any household cleaner will dry out the leather, possibly bleach it too.
You may find leather cleaners/conditioners at a shoe shop, or even a dry cleaners.
Do an online search for Leather cleaner/conditioner. Your best bet on finding what you need will be a motorcycle shop. Ask them about their Leather Motorcycle Seat Cleaner/Conditioners.

Water with a very small ammount of soap. Yu don't want to harm the finish of the chair. Take the soapy water and scrub with a Brilo pad until desired look has been achieved.

answer 4
You should only clean bonded leather with a wet cloth. The surface cannot handle soaps or alcohol-based products. Using them will cause the surface to crack.

With 3 young children in the house, this is always a concern for us. This chair has only needed dry dusting (everything in our climate requires dusting) and the occasional wipe with a slightly moistened rag.

There are no specs on the box or in the manual to answer your question. But I think my answer would be "very high" and "very low." It has a nice variable height range. I am 5' 11", it adjusts to every height I need.

No, only the Brown Bonded Leather.
Unless you've got your heart set on a "black" chair, I have to admit that I too was looking for a black chair. But I'm sure glad I decided to go ahead and get this one. The Brown Bonded Leather is Top Quality and will go with any decor. This Executive Desk Chair looks like it should have been VERY Expensive.
I still have to smile every time I see it sitting there at MY desk.

As the instructions say, pull out the handle used for raising and lowering the chair and then you should be able to tilt it backwards.

answer 3
The lift lever under the chair... while you are sitting in it, the lever goes up and down but it also pulls out (to the right) to release the tilt locking mechanism... push the lever all the way to the left to lock it in the upright position...
answered 1 year, 5 months ago
By
Mike9214
answer 4
Not really sure I understand your question.
Your chair should lean back naturally whenever you lean back in it.
If it doesn't, the lever that you use to raise and lower the seat height, just reach down and pull it out to the side, to your right. that releases the tilt lock. Lean forward and push it back in and it locks the chair upright and prevents it from tilting back.
answered 1 year, 5 months ago
By
seeker57
answer 5
Pull out the lever on the right side underneath of the seat. This allows you to rock in the chair. There is no way to permanently adjust the back in any other position than the upright position.
answered 1 year, 8 months ago
By
pellmell52
answer 6
The chair does not tilt back so as to stay in place, but rocks. If it tilted and locked in place, this would interfere with the rocking motion.

The box says 350lbs. I am 300 and had this chair a little over a year and the cylinder is starting to bleed off. Every 10-15 minutes it will drop down a inch or two and I'll have to raise it back up every so often. I shopped around for a new cylinder and discovered a lot of people having the same problem with this chair. When calling Broyhill about my issue I was told they do not manufacture this chair and was given the phone number to a company that imports these chairs directly from China.
