If you have an "Internet On The Go" mobile hotspot, then you should be able to use this card to activate the mobile hotspot and use your OOMA. I haven't tried this yet, and it may require additional hardware to get the OOMA to talk to the device.

Question

How do I renew my go card

In order to renew your "Internet On The Go" card, you simply buy a new card. Once you have that card, you will get directions as to how to apply that card to your mobile hotspot. Basically, you log onto the "Internet On The Go" website and supply the requested information, and the additional Internet usage will be applied to your device. Keep in mind that this card will only recharge an "Internet On The Go" device, which I believe is limited to the WiFi 2200 purchased at Walmart. It will not work with any other WiFi 2200 devices, such as sold by Verizon or Virgin Mobile.

Yes. You will need an "Internet On The Go" MiFi 2200 available from Walmart. Other vendors also sell the MiFi 2200, but this card will not work with any other devices other than the devices that say "Internet On The Go" on them. Currently, this device from Walmart is selling for about $80.

This card will only charge up an "Internet On The Go" MiFi 2200 mobile hotspot. It will not charge up ANY other mobile hotspots, to the best of my knowledge. Having a MiFi 2200 isn't good enough. You need the one that says "Internet On The Go" on it. It is available from Walmart for about $80.

This will not work with the Virgin Mobile hotspot, as I found out the hard way. Your mobile device must say "Internet On The Go" on the device. It is the same unit as sold by Virgin Mobile, but the Virgin Mobile serial numbers won't work with this card. The proper unit is available from Walmart for about $80.

No, this data is only for the Internet on the Go hotspot. If you have a VirginMobile hotspot, you have to buy the data from VirginMobile.

This card will charge up an "Internet On The Go" mobile hotspot. This hotspot will probably be the "Internet On The Go" MiFi 2200 sold by Walmart, as this card will only charge up the "Internet On The Go" hotspot. Once the mobile hotspot is on-line, you should be able to do anything you can do at a Starbucks or McDonalds as far as WiFi is concerned. Consider this card as a means of adding network time to the Walmart MiFi 2200. It's like buying additional minutes on a pay-as-you-go mobile phone, only in this case, you are buying additional minutes of Internet time.

No, Jackie .. the benefit of this product is that the gigabytes NEVER expire! .... They have just recently (dec 2013) added a condition that you must use it at least once every 90 days or they will begin to deduct bytes as an account holding charge.
