How to obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service from Straight Talk on a new or reconditioned phone or Straight Talk accessories, please contact Technical Support at 1-877-430-CELL (2355). If your problem cannot be resolved over the phone, our Straight Talk representatives will provide you with a Ticket Number, which you will use to send your phone and/or accessories to the designated Straight Talk Service Center for repair or replacement, at Straight Talk's discretion.

Manufacturer warranty in this case will be handled through Straight Talk. You will need to call their Customer Service Department and report the problem.

YES-YES-YES!!! The Proclaim uses Verizon Towers! (I'm not sure Verizon wants everyone to know this because their Illusion is almost the EXACT model!)The Proclaim & the Illusion use all the same accessories--can't find a Proclaim cover? Illusion cover will fit--as well as other accessories.

From what I was told when I asked that question was that Verizon towers are used BUT Verizon contract customers are priority, then Verizon pre-paid are 2nd, then 3rd party prepaid users (such as Walmarts Straight Talk) are last. So if the towers are being slammed with usage 3rd parties take a back seat........

It does, I travel all around the state of Virginia and have signal everywhere. When I send a text to my email it comes from XXXXXXXXXX@vtext.com which means it is definitely Verizon.

Yes it does. Verizon is NOT Straight Talk. Verizon will tell you what they have to in order to sell you on their prepaid or contract program. Also the people at Verizon don't have the information regarding Straight Talk's contracts with companies. Call Straight Talk if you have questions like this, they actually know.

I did much, much research while trying to decide WHICH phone to get to switch to Straight Talk. Thru several online sources and directly from the guy at the Walmart Wireless Store, I learned that YES--THIS PROCLAIM USES VERIZON TOWERS.

Yes, It works via Verizon tower. I was unable to activate this phone and to make phone call, because it uses only one tower in Toms River, NJ. I visited Verizon store and they checked phone number and informed me that my phone number was attached to those Verizon tower in Toms River,NJ and I live in central NJ and that is why I was unable to make phone call. I couldn't get dial tones on this smart phone. I returned it back. You will be able to use this smart phone, if you live near tower in Toms River, NJ.

It depends upon the packaging/actual phone. I prefer Verizon, so I had to make sure the package label lists the code. Check your code if any preferences (I'm not sure how ALL codes look, but they ARE on the front of the package)

This phone is CDMA on Verizon. Sprint is also CDMA network, and would be indicated on bottom left of box with CDMA-S, AT&T and T-Mobile are GSM.

I did like the other person said and installed Pic2Shop on this phone and it scans barcodes and reads the barcode perfectly. It's a free app and I would try it with this phone.

Yes. There is an app called Pic2Shop on the android market and it works. It is for phones which do not have an auto focus camera. Works great. Red Laser app should come out with an update soon for phones without auto focus camera. HTH

Unfortunately it is unable to scan barcodes. This is due, I believe, to the fact that the camera is a fixed focus camera. I have tried to scan barcodes all different ways with this and have had no luck.

Actually...IT DOES NOT! No matter what app you have. The camera (or atleast mine) cannot focus enough to scan it. After about ten minutes it may get a scan and state it cannot be found. I was very dissapointed . I use my galaxy player as a scanner and it does a beautiful job. I waqs hoping to have one on my phone with internet access when I am shopping.

The camera is better than I thought it would be but I would say it is only "fair" at best. It's not as good as my wife's Motorola Droid with 8 mp but if just sending pix to your friends and family the Proclaim is more than adequate. It probably wouldn't make very good prints.

I don't suggest this phone IF camera is a priority. While MegaPixels are not the only concern with any camera: Only 3MP, unlike some Samsung w/8MP; video is low/no HD, etc., color rendition for stills is rather POOR, even compared to my non-'smart' Samsung, even though you can customize the settings/light-source, etc.

It goes "in stock to order online"/"out of stock to order online" several times each day at Walmart.com---I kept hesitating to order and kept missing it...finally saw it IN STOCK yesterday and ordered right away. Just keep checking Walmart.com several times a day.

Oh my goodness I had the same problem untill I went on line at Walmart.com and ordered it there. It could not be purchased anyware in Las Vegas even at the Walmart stores. I love my new phone from Walmart.com, I even got the ins for it. Walmart stands behind their products.

I was going to go with one of the Best Buy plans because people complain about Straight Talk's service and how you may be without a phone for months after you ship it to Mexico. The guy at Best Buy said he wouldn't recommend his plans because they use Sprint and Verizon is about the only choice in my area.

Straight talk works. You have to know what phone works in your area. Sprint is smallest network. Att verizon T-Mobile each have one or more phones on straight talk. You need to ask friends and family what works for them. Then buy that carrier on straight talk

I AM QUITE SURE i AM ON A VERIZON TOWER. WALL MART TOLD ME VERIZON AND I BELIEVE ITS TRUE. IT COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE SPRINT.

I only got this phone because it used the Verizion towers. when I dile 1-2-3, I am connected to a recording: Welcome to Verision Wireless, your call can not be completed etc.
