The battery is depending on how many apps you have running, how long the screen is lit up, it is fine for me, it is not the life of say my old razor phone, but this does more. some apps are energy intense. killing a few select apps helps prolong the battery.

Yes, this battery is very decent. But to keep it that way here is how to properly start out:
1. When you or if you buy it....if there is any charge to it, let it Run Out "Completely". (Do not charge it with a charge in it, as the battery will not retain its memory capacity)
2. Once it is "Completely" dead, insert the charger end into the phone first.
3. Then connect the other end into an AC outlet(not an extension cord, if you can help it), as this is "less" likely to heat the phone up and especially if you have a Case on it. (If you have a Silicon/Gelly like case on it, "Remove It" before charging.
4** Every time you go to charge your phone make sure it is dead or in the low red charge zone, so your battery will retain its memory.

Battery life is pretty good. Just add a battery saver from Play Store. And you're good to go.

We took an 18 hour road trip and I literally messed with my phone the whole time because it was new :) The battery is typical for an android. It will last a couple days if you don't do much with it but if you are on it all day you will need to recharge half way through.
