This is a great. I am very pleased.
All the straight talk phones that end with a "G" use the AT&T network.
None of the phones will roam so make sure the phone you get uses the network that is best for you.
You can find out what phones use what network by contacting straight talk via email. Just go on straighttalk.com under contact us and send them an email. They can answer your questions better than walmart can. I would buy my phone from walmart though. Walmart is the only place you can get an extended warrantee on your phone.
You see straight talk phones come with the typical manufacturers warrantee that covers defects, but if you drop it, get it wet, or the buttons wear out from everyday usage you are screwed without an extended warrantee. The warrantee is cheap and it covers the phone for 18 months. It is definitely worth it.
I like it very much. In the rural IL area we live in, it's getting better reception than the Moto W376g, and that's saying something! Call quality is clear, volume is adequate but not great. It has an MP3 player and is expandable with SD card. I haven't tried the camera yet or done much with the web, but I love the slide out keyboard. Plus, there are lots of ways to manage shortcuts for everything I want to use. It seems sturdy, too.
