This is a piece of junk. You can use the net provided the signal is strong enough to support what you are doing. Three or four people in my neighborhood also have this device. We are only 3G. When one or two of the children are on playing games or watching movies I cannot get on. Also they tend to kick me off. It's ok if you want to use it at 2/3 AM when no one else is.

Yes, you can use it anywhere! We use it in the car going down the road. Also, we live in a remote area where there are no wifi spots available, and very little internet access. It works great!

As long as you are in the network, you should be good. Go to VirginMobileusa.com and look at the broadband coverage area. It might not be an idea to purchase a stick for certain travel situations, but I always check. Yes, there are places that Sprint does not cover, but you know what? THAT is where I use the McDonald's WiFi ;)

YES there is, Sort of... You need to be on the $35.00 or the $55.00 usage plan and you would also need to be in a SPRINT 4G coverage area too. You would need to have both, in order to get unlimited usage on this product... Okay.

answer 2
YES YOU CAN...You can use up to FIVE(5) wireless enabled devices at one time even, on Just ONE(1) device too. Device meaning, of course, The Virgin Mobile Hot Spot. You better hope that you can find an unlimited usage area, where there is 4G coverage available, otherwise then, you will be using up your allotted 3G / GB's of usage, more rapidly, as the more devices you load onto it at any given one time...Understand this all better now...? Good.

$35 a month for unlimited 4G data. 3G data is NOT unlimited, you only get 2 gigs per month.

answer 2
In order for you to get the Unlimited usage, you will need to find out if your on Sprint's 4 G coverage area first... Then you will need to be on the $35.00 usage plan or on the $55.00 usage plan, that includes up to 5 GB(Gigabytes) and Free* unlimited 4 G usage. The * means only if you can find and stay in the 4 G coverage areas near to your location, while using either plan, as described above, Okay...? Good.

As long as your iPad can connect to a "normal" wireless network, you should be good to go. The device will show the name and password on the screen when you power up. Enter that into the iPad and it should connect.
