The Nabi apps cannot be removed or hidden, and most of those require a subscription. My understanding is that it is part of the Nabi specific interface.
The 3rd party games/apps can be hidden, but I've never tried to delete them. I suppose you could.
ALL of the preloaded apps available on the nabi 2 are FREE, this includes the exclusive Fooz Kids University apps. The one exception is the Spinlets+tv app which offers a 30-day trial and is priced at $2.99 a month per household after the thirty days have passed if you wish to continue to have it available to your child. The Spinlets music app is an optional music service that charges a reasonable price per song. Yes, some of the game apps included are lite versions, and do not have all the game levels available with the full version, but can be enjoyed endlessly without charge. We have had our nabi 2 tablets for almost five months and we have not had to pay to use any of the preloaded apps. The Spinlets music app, Spinlets+tv app and the Fooz Kids apps are the only preloaded apps that cannot be removed from nabi mode, but it has not been a problem for us because my children use the Fooz Kids apps, and like to browse the Spinlets music app, and actually ignore the Spinlets+tv app. We opted out of Spinlets+tv because we already have a Netflix subscription and just added the Netflix app to our nabis, and we have chosen not to purchase songs from Spinlets music because we have a lot of music from Amazon that we are able to access through Amazon's mp3 player app.
