it only sticks out about 2 inches from the wall, its as wide as the cars, wider in a few spots. The set itself is about 3-4 feet high and 6-7 feet wide depending on how you set it up! you need to designate a wall or section of wall specifically for this...but its so worth it!

It really depends how you set them up. My set up takes about a 4x4 wall area. This includes 4 sets on the wall and 1 set connected but on the floor. They are basically set up in a zig-zag pattern. The only thing you have to think about when setting it up, is the height of the child using it. If he's short you might use more space side to side causing you to need a wider area near the floor.

Comes with 3m strips. the ones they advertise on tv where you pull the tab and it removes without ruining your wall. I have it mounted and its great!
