Hello! When hiding wallpaper patterns, make sure you prepare the surface properly before primer application. First, tack down or sand down loose seams and edges. Next, fill in seams with spackling compound, let dry and sand. We recommend to scuff sand if the wallpaper is very glossy. Finally, clean the surface with TSP or household cleaner, rinse and allow surface to dry thoroughly. After you properly prepare the surface, you can prime with quality oil-base primer like KILZ Original or for superior performance, try our "new technology" water-base oil performer KILZ MAX.
