No. You are better off shipping it to the store and when it gets there, while "picking it up", ask for assembly and leave it there, then pick up assembled (that's what I did)

No, all bikes come in a box and require the following, Pedals installed, Seat and seat post installed, front tire installed into front forks and handlebars installed, aligned and tightened. Your local bike shop can assemble if you do not feel comfortable, or your local walmart store sometimes can as wll if you have it shipped site to store.

Will this bike work for someone who is 5 10?

My 27 yr. old son is your height and weight, and he travels many miles on his bike, same type/size bike as the Huffy Rock Creek bike, and no problems that I am aware of. Buy a good lock for it as well as a bike helmet. Just a word to the wise.

I ride mine only on paved roads. We have a trail just a few miles from my home and I take it there, no worries with cars. Suspension is great and moves smoothly

answer 3
We have to ride a lot of street to get from trail to trail and this bike ride great on the street. Light and easy to maneuver and ready for the trails once you reach them.

I ride right from my house to the trails on the road for about 2 miles. It's comfortable and a piece of cake with this ride.

answer 4
If you're using it to get from point a to point b, yes, I frequently ride mine downtown on shopping trips and it works very well. If you're planning to bike on the road for fitness, this is not a road bike, it does not get up to speed as quickly as a road bike would, and you would extend a great deal more energy than it would probably be worth in exercise value trying to maintains speed on hilly or curvy roads.

It is fine in the street, but is designed for trail travel. A 'street' bike would be preferable if one is only going to be riding on the street because a street bike will afford a more comfortable seat, more efficient wind resistance, and you get those cool glittering straps on the handlebars....lol.

I weigh 200 or so and I've almost wiped out a number of times in 1 month of ownership when the pedals both broke off and it shifted into gear up a hill a few minutes after I turned the shifting handle. I say if you do buy one I hope you are careful.

it will, 26" bikes tend to work for upwards of 350, but I would recommend a 29" bike. preferably an ironhorse.

If you have short legs and buy a new seat (new seat for anyone!!!) I think it would be ok. If you are a tall big guy, then buy a 27 or bigger bike. I think the gearing would be ideal.

answer 5
As a guy who weighs 260 I would say no. You need to look at a 29 inch tire or 700c wheel bike and do not get rear suspension. On low end bikes they are spring only and will be useless for you.

It comes unassembled. You have to provide your own tools. My husband had to add a little air to the tires using his own air pump. Hope that helps.

If you order online for home delivery, you will need to assemble it yourself.

If you order online for in-store pickup, you can pickup the box for assembly at home or I *think* you can have the store assemble for you.

No tools at all are provided. Everything comes well protected in cardboard, plastic bags and is zip-tied down.

Air pump is definitely needed to fill the tires when received. The tires arrived with low pressure. You will need a Schrader pump (which is what most air pumps are configured with).

Good luck

I ordered mine online and had to assemble it myself. I didn't ask if Walmart would do it but they had signs for free assembly. If you decide to assemble it yourself you will need the following:

Hex key (Allen wrench)
Phillips screwdriver
Pliers for brake adjustment
Tire pump to inflate the tires
