yes, there is a little wire on the side in a little compartment. You plug it into the remote control. Says to charge it for 15 minutes and then afterwards leave it for 10 minutes before flying it. It also says if its not flying good or doing what you want, then it needs to be charged and that is the truth. Once it's charged up, it flys good. My 7 year old loves it as does my husband. Good buy. very durable. It's been crashed into tables and outside in the snow and it still flies good.

It plugs right into the transmitter (remote control) to recharge the helicopter. There is a little compartment that holds the wire. Takes 30-40 minutes for a full charge.

Yes, you must use a full set of fresh batteries in the remote. There is a hidden cable that plugs into the helicopter. Start with both off, plug in then switch the remote to A and the charge light will flash.

answer 2
Yes. There is a small compartment on the back of the controller that slides off and there is a tiny cord inside. This cord gets plugged (carefully) into the bottom of the helicopter in a very small unlabeled hole. The helicopter should be in the "off" position and the controller in the "on" position. The controler has a red LED light on the front that will blink until the helicopter is charged. Once the light goes out you are ready to fly! Charge is good for about 10 minutes of flight.

Good luck

Question

How do you work the charger for the helicopter?

I have the cable but not sure what should be on or off and how long. No indicator light came on with the helicopter. Should the remote and helicopter both be in the off position?

answer 2
According to the instructions, turn the chopper off and insert the charging cord. Flip the remote to A, B, or C and the light will start flashing. After about 45 min to an hour the light will stop flashing. Unplug the chopper and turn off the remote. If you leave the chopper plugged in, after about 10 minute the remote will go into a sleep mode but unplug to get the most out of the charge. Also replace the batteries that come with it with all new batteries. Do not mix battery types. The batteries that come with it are junk and will not have enough power to charge to full capacity with mixing batteries. I also use the rule to always run the chopper out completely and charge up to its fullest. I also will charge up, wait awhile and try charging again. This will help extend the battery life and keep it from getting a memory and only getting a minute or two out of the charge rather than 5-6 min.

answer 3
The charging cable, contained inside a small compartment on the controller, goes into a tiny hole on the bottom of the helicopter next to the on/off switch. The helicopter should be in the "off" position and the controller in the "on" position. The red light on the front of the controller will blink until the helicopter is fully charged and then will extinguish.
Hope this helps.

First...read the instruction sheet carefully and fully. The sheet covers the "how to" very well. The controller must be ON and the helicopter must be OFF to charge. The controller LED will flash red when charging. It takes 45 minutes to charge, if the helo is low. Once charged, the controller LED will become solid red.

Helicopter should be OFF and the remote should be ON, doesn't matter witch band. The light on the remote will flash while charging, and about 10 minutes after it is charged it will turn off.

answer 2
If you are launching off of a table, I can assume that you have lighting directly above it. If you are using the newer energy efficient bulbs (corkscrew type) this will cause problems. The remotes that are controlling the choppers are IR based and not RF so the choppers must be flown in line of sight. You can get lucky in homes the IR will reflect off walls and still control the chopper just fine. The problem with the EE bulbs is that they emit IR. This floods the receiver on the chopper and will cause the chopper to not receive the commands from the remote. If flown over a lamp or near a light with these it may drop like a brick. If they are close to these lights you may have lag or sluggish response or even no control at all. Hope that helps.

answer 3
I just purchased one for my grandson last week and we have been flying the rotors off it daily. Is the helicopter not powering when you give in inputs or just not flying properly? If it isn't powering at all, be sure to check which channel you have the controller in. Try all three positions (a, b, c) and apply throttle until the rotors spin. If it is powering and not flying then it is likely that the main rotor or tail rotor has been fouled or damaged. Check both carefully for hair. I have had to unwind hair from the rotors several times. This will definately cause the helicopter to be unresponsive. This unit is very responsive and stable so it should fly every time with ease. If not then I would suspect a problem and you may wish to return as defective and get another. I have and many of these toy helicopters and this is BY FAR the best one I have ever flown. It took about an hour to teach my 8 year old grandson to fly this and land it. Hope this helped.

First of all, read the instructions carefully and fully. You must fully charge the toy per the instructions. Once charged, you must turn on the controller to the helo's channel (A<B<C) and LINK them. The instructions for linking are in the instruction sheet. The helo will run for about 5 minutes and then it requires a 45 minute charge.

The Channel Selector on the remote allows you to select A, B, or C. Choose "A" for one and "B" for the other to separate them. The user guide describes how to pair the remote with the helicopter with the selected channel.

Because the helicopter is IR controlled it needs to learn which Code set you are using. After a full charge on the chopper, turn on the chopper, switch the remote to A, B, or C and point the remote at the chopper and press up on the altitude for a second or two then wait a second or two and repeat. That will allow the chopper to capture the correct code then should work fine after that. When using more than one chopper at the same time, use the same method but learn one at a time and do not fly the other chopper while one is learning. It may learn the codes from the remote being flown.

Question

Can I buy parts for this?

I bought this for my 9 year old Grandson, and he absolutely loved it! It is durable and worked wonderfully. His little brother decided to use it and decided to plug the charger into the helicopter. Needless to say, the end of the charger broke off. Can I get a replacement charger?

No the manufacturer does not support there product. There are a number of Good manufacturers that sell Helicopters on line and support their product with a full line of replacement parts for there helicopters and they sell for around 20-30$ same cost as the one you bought.
