Has anyone experienced this ride on having a less turning response to one way verses the other?
When my son turns to the right it is fine but when he tries to turn to the left it doesn't turn the tires enough for him to actually steer it like it should. Should I try to exchange it or is this just how it is made?

I have not seen this problem and I own two
I just went through this myself. You have installed the front axle wrong. Its the part you bolted together under the front rubber boots. The one with the weld goes on the top. If you go and look you will have one side bolted backwards and the weld is hitting the arm to the wheel. When you have it installed correctly it turns super easy. The correct way will have a little metal rod that sticks down to stop the wheel from turning to far to either side.
When you intalled the handle bars were the tires facing perfectly forward? Might just be the handle bars are out of alignment
