Your best bet is checking sigsauer.com and review the spec sheet. There are some differences in 'commercial and mil spec AR15 variants. lots of interchangeable parts available but you may need to do some measuring to be sure.

answer 4
Most all semi-automatic long guns are "gas operated," or they are recoil blowback operated (small/handgun calibre.) I think you meant is it Direct Impingement, gas going directly to the bolt, causing burned powder to dirty up, or foul, the action; or Piston operated, either short or long stroke.
In a Piston gun, gas only goes to a piston, forcing linkages to complete the firing cycle, the gas bleeds off right there. These are much more expensive, and run cleaner, the genuine benefit of a Piston gun running cleaner, is up for some argument among experts. If you think a firearm can work without cleaning, stay at the far end of the range, so I don't get hit by your shrapnel, when it blows up.
All AR/M-16 types were D. I., until fairly recently. Just as all M-1s, M14s, and AK's are Piston. Ruger 10/22s, as an example, are Blowback operated. Hope this helps.

5.56x45 and .223. Do not use 5.56x45 in a rifle labeled just .223. You can safely use .223 ammo in a rifle labeled 5.56 however. Sometimes they are labeled 5.56/.223.

The Prismatic scope is a SIG CP1, which is 3X power. For more info, there is info on the SIG site, or just Google "CP1 Prismatic Scope".

Its overall visibility seems quite good (not quite as good as illuminated, of course) and has good eye relief. And it seems to be of pretty sturdy build, but I have not yet tried it out under consistent fire during practice.

The scope power is 3X and is surprisingly good. The cost of the scope is around $120 -$150 if you buy it, but this already comes with it.
