The phone
Charger to plug into a regular wall socket in your house
USB-microUSB cable (to connect the phone to your computer or any other device with a USB connection)
Battery
Back cover
SIM card
Activation Guide
Samsung Galaxy SII Quick Start Guide
The manual that comes with the phone says that there should also be a microSD card in the box, but there wasn't one in mine. I'm not sure if there should have been one in the box or if it was just an error because the same list did not mention the SIM card, which is included. Maybe there was a mix-up between the SIM card and a microSD card when making that list.

Each Straight Talk/Tracfone phone is built for certain type carriers. Some of the Android phones are on Sprint (CDMA) while a few are Verizon (CDMA), others have a SIM card causing them to be ATT or T-Mobile depending on the area they are sold in.

On non-Android phones, normally CDMA on the box front lower area, means Verizon, and GSM means ATT, but sometimes T-Mobile, and it depends on the sim card that is shipped in the phone - usually ATT unless you are in a mostly T-Mobile area.

I just talked to my Walmart in Birmingham, AL, and the G S II says GSM, which usually means ATT here, and I have seen others post theirs is ATT in Florida.

Short answer - surely ATT, especially if ATT is good in your area.

Tracfone has always gotten the best deal with ATT, by the way, so they are preferred. Just buy the phone, and try it - you have 14 days to return it for a refund, except you have to pay for a $45 plus tax card, and if you like it, THEN and only THEN, call Straight Talk, and get your number transferred.

Short answer: you don't (online anyway).

Explanation: Straight talk will give you whatever provider that works in your area. If there are multiple providers in your area the service provider you have depends on which phone you have. For example, my phone works on sprint service and I hate it. A friend of mine wanted the same phone but didn't want the spotty service. So she went on a trip out of town and got a phone that used att service at another Wal-Mart. How did she know? Supposedly the number on the bottom right hand corner of the box that says something like CDMA-S. The "S" stands for Sprint in this case. I don't know what all the providers "letters" are, but I'm sure you could figure it out. I hope this helps.

It used to be that Walmart would code each phone at the end of its title on the website description. They now have removed those codes. However, the box in which the phone is packaged still has the code on the front left corner so if you are in a Walmart store and can see the boxes on the display, you will see the following codes:

GSM-A = AT&T
CDMA-V = Verizon
CDMA-S = Sprint
GSM = T-Mobile or AT&T

If you were to have looked at this webpage about a month ago, after the title to this phone, you would have seen: "GSM-A"

Currently on the Walmart website, the only hint will be the model number of some phones (but not all). If it ends in "G" it will be a GSM phone on AT&T or T-mobile. If it ends in "C" it will be a CDMA phone or on Verizon or Sprint.

Next time you're in a Walmart store, look at the Straight Talk display and examine the front of the box of any given phone. The code will be printed on the lower corner.

Here is an example ...not for this phone, however, but just to show where the code is located on the box (copy-and-paste):
