The LG530's item description says wifi, owners of it saying NO wifi though???
In "item description" it says the Bluetooth technology allows you to use it at any location that has a WiFi signal... BUT - the customers Owning it say it Does NOT have WiFi capabilities.
My no-contract phone thru Boost was disconnected over 6mo. ago when I was laid off. I cant make calls & even Lost my oassigned phone number - However - I use it daily for anything online, download music, apps, etc.
BECAUSE it uses the WiFi in our home.
Im confused as to WHY you even NEED 2go somewhere w/ WiFi - if you're only allowed to use it thru the minutes you have purchased on that phone anyway...
( & esp. if its not WiFi capable at All - like customers are saying?!)
Obviously idk alot about the technical way it works or not, I just DEF need 2know the right answer for this phone because I can only afford tracfone now (Ill only be txting & rarely using it) & Really want to go back to Qwerty keyboard like my old blackberry.
Im not very fast at typing on my Boost touch screen, actually takes me longer -even with swype!?
If Anyone understands my dilemma & could shed some light I would appreciate it very much!! :)
If not, Ill just have to carry 2phones around at home just to be able to go online from what I understand... THANKS!!
