I don't know what a "securityman" is. Our systems are stand alone units that provide security via cameras and a DVR to record the records.

Hello,

No, the only DVR we currently have that can accept an external HDD is the PE model and in the area of complete kits it is the PRO system.

Once you bought the system and it is up and running you don't own any money to us or anybody else. The system is yours and you manage it. There is no subscriptions involved.

If you have a way of hooking the receiver for those cameras to the dvr's BNC cable inputs, yes. It does not receive signals from them by its self.

No, it is not possible to connect the DVR to the Dish Network SAT System.
The system would not work with that type of set up.

No. It is for security cameras and has no propriety software for recording pay service network packages (which would be illegal).

I want a unit that will record multiple TV channels at the same time to replace the DVR unit supplied by Comcast. I would like to eliminate the $16.95 monthly charge for their DVR.

Can this unit be used as a TELEVISION DVR to record MULTIPLE CHANNELS CONCURENTLY????

This DVRs don't record TV programs.

They are designed to record security cameras only, which are directly connected to the system.
