No these products do not come with a disk. They do sell a version with the backup CD available. But what you will get is a registration card. You will have to sign up for a Microsoft account if you do not already have one. And then you will enter the registration card code for the download and install of the actual product. They say it is so they can keep track of the software. Which a CD will work for. It is so they can keep track of all the things you do on your PC or device.

Question

What does perform "any task virtually" mean as opposed to "virtually any task?"

The product description says that you can perform "any task virtually" instead of "virtually a task." There is a huge difference between the two. Which is it? I want this software on my hard drive - not virtually in some cloud.

This is the actual software so it is on your hard drive. When they say virtually, they mean that is you store the documents in the cloud service then you can access them from virtually anywhere and work on them. The 360 product is a "virtual" product that you run the software from your device virtually and use thier cloud to perform the functions. This product is the actual software on your harddrive.

Doing a task virtually means being able to do it while not actually "there".

To do virtually any task means the product can do any task, or nearly so.

I would suggest uninstalling the other version. It was a toss up for me which one to get. I had been limited to just Word Starter 2010 & wanted more. Do a contact with support if you aren't sure.

Hello there,

You will not have any problems with installing Office Home & Student to your PC with Office 365 Home Premium already installed on it as long as your PC meets the system requirements. Remember, Outlook is not included in the Office Home & Student suite, so if you are using Outlook, you may want to purchase a different Office 2013 suite with Outlook include. For the system requirements, please visit: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/office-system-requirements-FX102921529.aspx

You get a box that has a card with a key number on it. Also the box contains instructions on how to get the download. It actually comes from Microsoft's web site. You need the key number to access it.

The down load is quick. Installation, not so much. But once installed, you can just run with it.

I had contacted Microsoft and from their customer service to tech support both agree and state there is no product DVD/CD for office 2013. It is all downloaded and they either email or send you the link and key to your product.
