Problem with phone or sevice?
I activated my straight talk service on the Centura about 2 weeks ago. My mom was the first to call me on it - everything went fine. She also uses ST. Now she can't call me. She gets a message that the area code or phone number isn't valid. She lives 125 miles away. Everything works fine when she's at my house - calls go through. When she goes home, she gets the same error. Keep in mind, she called me from her house and it worked fine once. We've both called ST customer service and no one seems to know what the problem is. Anyone else have this issue?

Jen - this same thing happened to me with another phone service. I live in Georgia (706) area code, but had to get a Tennessee (423) area code number to talk to my wife standing in the same room. Check with friends, if necessary, to see what codes they are using for your area - hope this helps!
The service providor is Verizon so if you are both not in a Verizon service area you may be roaming and you may need to set the code for that. It is in the book that comes with the phone. I had to do that on my Galaxy because occasionally it switches to a tower that is AT+T instead.
