answer 4
I haven't tried this actually, seeing how warm it gets I would thaw the pancakes first, or add time to the cooking. Since sandwich top actually comes contact with the egg during the cooking process, a frozen top would slow down the process. I use english muffins that are kept in the fridge and that works out just fine, with out additional heating.

Yes. You put the english muffin in first and any topping on top of that (cheese; canadian bacon; crab). You close that section and place the egg in the next section and the top of the english muffin. It comes out perfect. You will need to figure out the best time for your sandwich (they say anywhere between 4 and 5 minutes so we picked 4 1/2 and it worked).

I used a a sausage patty, I'd bought them from the store, earlier that day, so it was cold, but not frozen. Since it's only in there 4-5 mins, I'm not sure that would be quite enough time for the patty to cook all the way through.

Since this is plenty hot enough to cook the egg, I honestly think that a frozen patty would work fine. My suggestion is to give it a try. It's already pre-cooked, so I can't imagine that it wouldn't work.

answer 7
I would thaw the sausage patty first. After you get yours, you can judge the cooking time with the various meats and eggs. I also would recommend a medium egg, as the large egg takes a bit longer to cook. I tried cooking a slice of cut-up raw bacon, and it didn't work too well, so I always cook (bake) my bacon in the oven on parchment paper. I cook it to almost the crispness point and refridgerate it.

The middle part comes apart from the machine and is dishwasher safe, or you can wash it with regular dish soap and water and dry it well with a paper towel or cloth. The movable egg tray and the rest of the non stick surfaces I also wash off with a sponge or dish rag and dry immediately. Very easy to clean. Do not use any harsh detergents, I use Dawn to wash mine with.

Because I always use a SMALL spray of Pam or similar oil, it is easy to clean by just wiping off all sides of each section with a dry paper-towel. The high heat when it is used serves to sterilize the components. However, because the rings and cooking-plate remove so easily it would be possible to put them in the dishwasher or use a dish-soap-sponge on them.

From my perspective it seems like a high quality teflon (sp?). The whole middle part (that looks like rings) pops right out and is super easy to wash. The plates on the unit itself only ever require a napkin wipe down. I've tested messes, too-- spilled-- put too much egg- melted cheese all over just about everything -- several times.
