Spinning action

I've been told that the spinning mechanism won't work unless the handle is an exact position. Can you tell me what position is? My mophead is a little bit wetter than I'd like it so I'm not sure if I'm holding the handle properly. Thank you

The handle needs to be in the vertical position. If your mop head is too wet, perhaps you've filled the bucket too high (that is, past the "max" line)?

Straight horizontal

Collegiatecouture
answer 3
You don't hold onto the handle while your spinning the water out. You put your thumb and forefinger together around the handle and let it spin freely and press the peddle and the handle spins freely, not touching it. It works great.
answered 4 months ago
By
Povo
answer 4
I put the mop in straight up/down. You can straighten it while in the water bucket.
Put the mop head in the spinner, hold by the top red tip and use the pedal.
answered 5 months ago
By
TKDGal
answer 5
Hold the handle in an upright vertical position with the mop head in a horizontal flat position in the bucket. That way, there will be no vibrations or splashes and it always works great for me when I do it like that.

Trish0949

The handle is held straight and you spin as long as you need to get it dry as you want it.

I put it straight and spin in. Not exact position. You need to spin it before you start other wise it will be too wet
answered 6 months ago
By

answer 8
Make sure the pivot portion is straight up so the shaft is straight. Then hold the handle loosely and pump the peddle. I do it about 5 times and it is pretty dry. The pivoting portion takes some getting used to even while mopping but I think this is going to make my work so much easier.
answered 6 months ago
By
Catsu
answer 9
The mop handle needs to be perpendicular to the mop head when it's in the spinner. Just hold the handle loosely while pushing on the pedal. The faster it spins, the drier the mop. You need to press the pedal four or more times to get the mop head super dry.
answered 6 months ago
By
DWMcC
answer 10
Just make sure it's straight up & down, & while the mop is spinning, loosely hold your hand around the handle for added stability. Once you do it 3 or 4 times you'll find it's easy to work with.

The telescoping sections can lock. Try twisting them in a little harder. Also hold the mop pole very loosely in your closed but loose grip when using the buckets spin cycle. You'll also note that there is an upright
(perpendicular) pole lock, that should be in place when spinning out some or all of the mop water. To get the pole handle back into the angled mopping position, put the mop on the floor and use your foot to steady it while you change the angle of the pole to the mop.

Easy to fill bucket - even easier to empty. I normally do not do large area so I never change water. I don't do ALL in same day. If I were to do an area larger than 3 car garage I image I would change the water. Look at water - darker is talking to you.

Emptying & filling the bucket is easy. I do change the water frequently because I want to be using clean water - but it's so easy to do that I don't mind the extra trips to the sink.

It is no more difficult than with a regular bucket. Even though it is a larger unit, it is not heavy. The overall shape may make it hard to set in one side of a kitchen sink to fill, though.

The spin system is amazing. It takes all of the dirty water out of the mop. No, I don't change the water. I fill the bucket in the kitchen sink. You only fill the bucket with about 6 in. of water

answer 6
hi! I am the same way, but since the mop goes into the spinner, it doesnt touch the dirty water once you get it into the spinner side. So I changed less often!
About the filling part, the bucket is a tad bulky, so if you didnt have a bigger kitchen sink, it wouldnt fit. I normally fill mine in the bathtub!
