I have been applying it both morning and evening. The single spot I'm applying it to on my face is definitely lighter, but the spot is still there.

I haven't used this one yet, though it is in my cart now. I've used products like this all of my adult life, so had my mom. It is recommended that they only be used at night, so that would be once a day. Don't use it more than 3 months. Stop and if you need to start again, later down the road, then try it. That's how I've been doing.

Question

When should this be used if I'm also using the equate 3-step acne facial cleanser? Which step should this be?

Because there's also a 4th step mask to be used occasionally and if used, goes in between step number 1 and step number 2.

You rinse the mask off so apply the spot remover after you rinse. I mix spot remover up in my face moisturizer

I also use the Equate 3 step acne system. The mask is suggested as a sort of 1.5 step, which I've done at times. You can also use it as an actual 4th step. I use it on acne areas overnight, not as a whole face mask. Unfortunately that little tube can go fast. Acnefree makes a sulfur mask in a larger tube if you want more.
As for the lightener I'd recommend using that as an overnight product only on dark spots, not actual active acne. So, it would be used after the other products in the 3 step system.

Dark spots on the skin are caused by hyperpigmentation, dark under eye circles are not because of hyperpigmentation. I wouldn't use it there.

You should mix it in your hands with the lotion right before you use it. If you mix it in with the bottle of body lotion, the hydroquinone in the spot remover will turn the body lotion brown if you don't use it quick enough, and it will look gross.

answer 2
Yes, i do that because all by itself it makes my skin really dry. Although it says if you are going in sun with this own, that you need sun screen lotion. So, it still works.

I wouldn't use this on the bikini area. I recommend Bikini Zone's After Shave Gel. For me it works quite well on redness and spots from ingrown hairs.

No i don't think it will work there. It's a dark spot corrector, but you can give it a shot, it won't hurt atleast.

Question

Do we rinse?

I rather apply the cream once a day & it would be a night time. Would I keep the cream on all night while sleeping or do I rinse it off before going to sleep. Reason I ask is because I feel a tightness on the spots I rubbed the cream on. Would it be okay to sleep with it and rinse next morning during my shower?

This ceam is made to be use only at night so it works the whole night on your face, and like you said you should rinse it off the next morning. Do not worry about the thitness that you feel I felt the same as long as the cream dont irritate your skin.
