How does it work on gravel or grass?

My grandkids live on a farm with a very limited amount of concrete driveways and sidewalks. They have a long gravel drive and lots of yard space. How does the Ziggle work on gravel or grass?

This toy does not go very well in grass. If the gravel is packed down (not soft) then it might do ok.

The Ziggle will not work well on gravel or grass. It will need a semi-smooth to smooth surface to work properly

Won't work at all. Must be very smooth.

Neither would work well at all. Flat surface is best. Paved road, side walks and driveways only. If they would go to a park with a jogging trail that is paved it would work fine. Fits in my civic trunk fine.

Don't believe it would work that well on gravel or grass small hard wheels would not roll well

possibly, if the seat was all the way forward. It moves easily and would help with coordination.

answer 2
Yes - my 2 1/2 yr old uses it more like a ride-on, but she is testing the "ziggle" effect every once in a while. It is definitely something she can manuever around and will grow into it. Age range is 2-8 (depending on weight of child) so we look forward to lots of ziggling in the future

I'm sure he/she could. Before I bought this I watched You Tube video's of a variety of aged children using it.

answer 5
I guess it depends. Our 4 yr old uses the closest seat setting to the handle bars. He is about avg ht for his age.

answer 6
Would depend on the child. If tall and advanced coordination, with older kids to help train how to ride could probably ride it some, really more suited to 4 years and up i believe

My son was 3 when he started using this but I think a 2 yr old could get the hang of this very quickly. It doesn't require knowing how to peddle. They just need to move their arms and legs in a pushing motion and it will move.

answer 11
My two year old tried it and couldn't really make it go. Because of the way it works, you have to push/pull on the handles and footboards. Even at its smallest settings, I think a two year old would have trouble making it go because they wouldn't be tall enough or strong enough to make it fun.
