answer 5
Each child is different and it is more important how tall she is versus how old. My daughter is 4.5 and we just moved up from a 12" to this 16" bike. She is doing fine, but she was already a good bike rider before the switch. If your daughter is just learning this bike does come with training wheels. I recommend the 16" beacause she should fit, plus she can keep it longer.

The brake does have a front hand brake but the main braking system is the rear coaster brakes (pedal brakes). The hand brake is more for the child to learn how to use them than braking.

Probably not. You may want to try the Next Misty bike. My son has the boys version and it has more meaty tires but it is a size 18 which is good for a 7-9 year old.

You can also go back to any Walmart and talk to a toys associate or assembler and they might have extra training wheels in back or just open up one of the bikes and take the training wheels out.
