i just got my juicer today- the apples & carrots mainly just lay in the chute- on top of the blade- i have the pusher thing inserted- they just lay there and very little juice comes out- any tips? right now i am just wasting carrots & apples...thanks...( i make sure the blade & basket are clean- doesn't help)

i know this might be a crazy question, but can you juice greens such as collards, mustards, turnip greens, etc?
