answer 1
To thaw frozen breast milk, I put the bag of frozen milk in a bowl of cold water for about 5 minutes to thaw it out. Then I transfer it to a bottle, and warm the bottle with the bottle warmer according to the directions.

Breastmilk should be defrosted in the fridge or a warm cup of water. You should have been given this info at your pediatrician or hospital...

Very hot!

answer 2
I'm not sure what temp it actually heats up to I just know that the plate inside at the bottom gets pretty hot. It gets hot so that it evaporates the water you put in and the steam heats the bottle. The temp of the bottle depends on how much water you put in the unit. it comes with a measuring vial and instructions. I found that the perfect temp for a 4 oz dr browns bottle from the fridge is about 4 min mark. Room temp is best at 3 min mark.

You will need to test the temperature before feeding. If it is not to your liking then adjust the amount of water used.

Yes, those are the exact bottles we are using right now! Fits perfectly! We have been using the glass bottles even though it says not to put glass bottles so they don't crack, we haven't had one crack yet, the avent bottle is pretty thick and strong.

Yes. I put my baby boy 9 oz. bottle and it comes out good and on time! I would definitely recommend it seems to work fine with most bottles(avent, tommee tippee, dr. brown). I think it's just not good with the playtex nurser bottles.

I put the stuff that can be take out in the sink and clean it in the sink. The inside that has is attached to the power cord I just wet down a paper towel and put a little soap on it and cleaned it that way. Didn't find it was to hard to clean at all and I hate cleaning things!

Add about 1/2 cup of vinegar and let soak for an hour. Rinse very well until there is no vinegar odor. Let air dry. I had used it for about a month when it started producing a burning smell, cleaned as insructed above and the smell is gone.
