answer 1
To thaw frozen breast milk, I put the bag of frozen milk in a bowl of cold water for about 5 minutes to thaw it out. Then I transfer it to a bottle, and warm the bottle with the bottle warmer according to the directions.

Breastmilk should be defrosted in the fridge or a warm cup of water. You should have been given this info at your pediatrician or hospital...

Yes. I put my baby boy 9 oz. bottle and it comes out good and on time! I would definitely recommend it seems to work fine with most bottles(avent, tommee tippee, dr. brown). I think it's just not good with the playtex nurser bottles.

Yes, I warmed mine at the hospital in this warmer, my twins were premature, and it worked beautifully. I also used it to warm my breastmilk at home, it works well and doesn't kill the delicate nutrients or antibodies that are so wonderful in breastmilk. Good for you, keep pumping! :)

No its an electric plug in only. But if you have an adapter with an electric outlet on it that would be an idea. You just had me think about using that on my next trip. Thanks

I put the stuff that can be take out in the sink and clean it in the sink. The inside that has is attached to the power cord I just wet down a paper towel and put a little soap on it and cleaned it that way. Didn't find it was to hard to clean at all and I hate cleaning things!

Add about 1/2 cup of vinegar and let soak for an hour. Rinse very well until there is no vinegar odor. Let air dry. I had used it for about a month when it started producing a burning smell, cleaned as insructed above and the smell is gone.

Yws. You will need to test the amount of water you use to adjust the temperature of the milk/formula you feed your baby.

Yes this can be used on glass bottles, I am currently using this bottle warmer on the Dr. Browns Glass Bottles & it works Great, you just have figure out the right water measurements according to the ounces of formula you have in the bottle, the warmer is easy to clean & it is definitely a good investment for the price.

answer 2
it says NOT to use this warmer with glass bottles as the sudden change in temp could cause the glass to break...however it also states not to use with the drop-in bottles and thats what we use with no issues...if your bottle was room temp and NOT cold from the fridge i would think you would be ok.

You just fill up the enclosed measuring tube with the correct amount of water, which measurements can be found on the back of the warmer, and just push the buttom and wait for the light to go off!

Follow the instructions provided in the Warmer box. We took the little water dispenser, filled it about half way for a small 5 oz bottle, poured the water in the warmer with the basket inside and put the bottle in the basket after you've added the water. Then you push the button and the warmer steams your bottle contents to the right temperature. TEST the contents of the bottle BEFORE you feed your baby to be sure it's not too hot!! Very Important! We just dotted a bit of milk on the underneath of our wrist, where you wear your watch, it's sensitive and you can tell if it's too hot or just right for your baby. Good luck! :)
