Is the flashlight waterproof?
Is the flashlight waterproof or weather sealed to any specific standard? I notice a couple of O-rings, but I don't see any mark on the package indicating how waterproof it is.
Other flashlights I have state whether they IPX4 or IPX7 (and even IPX8) rated.
I'd hate to bring this flashlight with me to find it doesn't work after a canoe tip or if I leave it outside my tent while raining.

I would say it is not submergeable for swimming or diving - but is fully sealed for splashes &/or heavy rain type situations. It has tight fitting O-rings.
This flashlight is not only water-proof, it's LAVA-PROOF.
Yes, not for diving.
Has very thin flat seal on battery compartment. Seal was pinched and damaged on mine, and since there is no claim of waterproof standard on packaging I would assume it should not be submerged. I would think water splash would not do any harm though.
id say it might be rain resistant, but not immersion proof, and its so heavy if it ever got dropped in any body of water it would be long gone
rain proof yes
water proof no
Our flashlights are water resistant. They are not IPX rated.
