For this player, you really need a tv with an hdmi input. That is the ONLY set up this player will do. There are no cable jacks at all. You can get a converter, but my experience with such things is that the more "speedbumps" you put between source and picture, the more diminishments you will have with your picture/sound.
For example, in my living room, I still have a set up where everything goes through a stereo vcr (yes, I still have one), which is hooked up to a receiver. My dvd and another blu ray also goe through that vcr. This allows me to use my receiver and big speakers when watching movies. This player would not have worked in that set up.
buy an HDMI to RCA adapter
No, this unit does not support RCA, (Red, Yellow, White) cables. Keep in mind that if your TV does not have HDMI inputs, you should consider purchasing a regular DVD player for$20-25. If you are set on having blue ray player, just Google HDMI to RCA connectors. You can find a decent cable for under $10.
