The bottle looks pretty substantial on top. I am guessing you would need to get a replacement from Hamilton Beach.

The bottle should not be replaced by a different one.

No replacements. Either buy whole new system or, at this hugely increased price, go online and buy a real water siphon.

Thank you for your question. Use only food-grade, 8-gram SodaStation CO2 cartridges and SodaStation Hamilton Beach bottles. Go to www.hamiltonbeach.com, or call Hamilton Beach at 1-800-851-8900, to purchase additional bottles.

The bottle comes with an expiration date approximately 15 - 18 months from present date. I'm not sure how they figured the date. Eventually, after repeated use, the bottle will rupture. I plan to use my bottle until that happens. I only carbonate water, so I don't have to worry about a sticky mess all over the place.
Almost forgot, yes, it has to be a Fizzini replacement bottle. The Co2 injector locks onto the Fizzini bottle. If you use something else, you would have to fashion an adapter to lock onto the bottle.
