This electric fireplace entertainment center will fit most flat panel TVs up to 45-inches and up to 100-pounds. The fireplace will heat up to 400-square-feet at 4,600-BTUs-per-hour. It has four flame level settings, including a no flame setting, too. It also has a 20-degree temperature control with sleep timer, and a remote control that allows you to change the fireplace settings from anywhere in the room. It features two side compartments that can be used to store media items, and the front features two shelves where you can store your cable box, DVD player, game players, or other items. Yes you can have flame with no heat. And there is 3 flame heights or you can just have the logs glow like embers. The flames are orange and yellow.They are pretty realistic.

yes. Fan/heater operates when heat mode is on only. Unit can be used without heat and still get the fire view effects. When heat is not on, no fan will blow. Also, heat and fan are controlled by thermostat settings that you can change.

FIREPLACE DOES FUNCTION WITH OR WITHOUT HEAT IN ALL THE FLAME LEVEL SETTINGS, SO YES YOU CAN VIEW THE FLAMES WITH NO HEAT.

THE WOOD IS SIMULATED WITH A VERY REAL LOOK.

Wood is not real. It's an electric fireplace. I believe the heat can be turned off. There is a 20 degree temperature range (can be set somewhere between 65 and 85 degrees).

3 prong, I would suggest a 3 to 2 prong adapter to put on the end of the cord, just follow instructions to propery ground the plug. Very easy to do...

Box says up to a 45" flat screen, up to 100 lbs. I saw it with a 32" on it, and there was plenty of room left. I wouldn't push it though.
