Tammy, this phone will use the Sprint NATIVE network ...which means that it will not roam and only use towers that Sprint owns.
I looked at the coverage map for your ZIP code and it appears that Sprint has good coverage for both voice and 3G data in the Worthington area.
You can go to the Sprint coverage map and hone in on the addresses that you plan to use the phone (home, work, school, grandma's house, etc.) and you will be able to see the coverage that Sprint provides in that area.
Sprint native coverage map (copy-and-paste):
Uncheck the first two boxes as you will not have access to any 4G coverage with this phone. Leave the 3G box checked and that will show your data coverage (in orange).
Uncheck all boxes and then it will show the voice coverage (in green).
