Thank you Richardarr! That is what I needed to know! Your awesome!
I apologize for not being helpful, srlepley214. I actually misinterpreted your question. I assumed you were asking if this particular phone is GSM.
Walmart used to code most of the ST phones in their titles if they were CDMA or GSM but they have discontinued doing that.
However if you are in a Walmart store and are able to look at the box the phone comes in, it will tell you if it is CDMA or GSM on the front of the box in the lower left corner. It will be coded as GSM-A being AT&T, CDMA-V being Verizon, or CDMA-S, being Sprint.
Here on the Walmart website, there is now no consistent way to tell but generally, if the model number ends in "G" it is GSM and if the model number ends in "C" it is CDMA (however, it is sometimes difficult to determine if it is Verizon or Sprint).
So for example, this phone has the model number of "L96G" so it is GSM.
The LG Optimus Showtime has the model number of "L86C" so it is CDMA.
GSM, primarily using AT&T.
The LG Optimus Showtime, sister phone to this one, uses Verizon CDMA.
