I do have this phone and it DOES have a light notification. :) It's handy.
I don't have this phone but I do know that most lower-to-mid priced Android phones nowadays do not have LED exterior notification lights.
I missed that feature on my LG L40G. I also missed knowing when the battery was fully charged as my old phone would have its LED lit in red when it was charging and then turned green when it was fully charged.
I started researching apps and found that there are a variety of apps that can work as notifiers. The one that I chose is "NoLED" which is perfect for what I want.
It uses a screen notification for each of the notifications you want to program it for. One color icon for missed text messages, another color for missed calls, another color for missed voice mails, etc. You can customize the colors, icons, time intervals, etc. It also has a battery charge notification.
They are "floating" indicators on a semi-blacked out screen and so far I'm pleased because it doesn't seem to use that much battery ...I'm thinking less than what an LED would use.
There are other apps that work in a similar fashion but I'm satisfied with this one and it seems to have higher reviews than the others.
If somebody posts that this particular phone has an LED notification light, disregard what I've said here.
