My daughter wants a phone that will do everything her ipod does. Does this phone compare to an ipod and it's free app availability?
She really wants a phone that she can use wifi when she doesn't have any prepaid data time left. She wants aps like texting, calling, game playing, music, etc. like what she can do on her I-pod with Wi-Fi. Will this phone work for her needs?

I started with an Ipod touch before I got this phone. I was surprised how many apps Google Play has for Android that iTunes has for the ipod. For me it seems very similar (multiple home screens with apps listed, availability seems close between google and itunes, and the phone settings and actions are pretty similar). You get up to 32gb of data which is not as much as the 64gb ipod. The screen is bigger which is a plus (at least for me) and you get this phone at a fraction of the cost of an idevice. I love my ipod but now that I have this phone I don't think I will be using it as much - the only downside that I have found is the access to itunes and my music on the ZTE vs. the ipod. Hope that helps!
Google Play store has many free text and calling apps just like apple that works over wifi. When your data expires wifi still works with these apps if you are connected to wifi that is.
