I have the F6300. It is a smart TV but no 3D. I believe this FH6200 is a Black Friday model. I have no idea of the specs. Walmart should provide more info than what's listed!

@LEDTVreviews, No, Samsungs website says the 6300 is Smart but not 3D. I can't even find a 6200 on Samsungs.com. They are selling the 6300 as a smart tv for $1096 on Walmarts main site. Soooo... what's so different about the 6200 that they are willing to sell it for $300 less. Slower processor? Who knows. Seems to be a made for black friday only tv, which worries me.

The short answer is no it's not a true 240Hz refresh rate. It is 120Hz refresh rate. Technically it's a 240CMR.

I was in the store today and the description tag in the store states it as 240CMR. Here is a quote from the Samsung website that explains what CMR is:
"Clear Motion Rate was developed to accurately measure how well a LCD or LED TV can depict fast-moving images. Previously, motion-clarity was calculated by the frame refresh rate alone. But CMR offers a more complete measure by calculating 3 factors: frame refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology. "

I don't know..?
The Black Friday add picture shows a Samsung "UN55FH6200" 55", 240 refresh rate. This page says Samsung FH6200 55", 120Hz.
The "240 refresh rate" in the add likely refers to "Clear Motion Rate" which is a forced software enhancement of the picture
Here is Samsung's page on "Clear Motion Rate" (copy and paste)
http://www.samsung.com/us/article/clear-motion-rate-a-new-standard-for-motion-clarity

And a "Difference Between .com" article that enplanes it pretty well,

the way it was told to me was that Samsung takes three things into factor that determines cmr - clear motion ratio. its a 120 hz giving the picture quality of a 240 hz in simple terms.

I chatted with Samsung online agent and as per agent it's a same spec as 6300 just a model made for Black Friday only. Also stand in Walmart model is not silver spider like 6300 series. I just bought one and it's looks ok, price is right so i guess it works.

Question

If the BF Ad shows Samsung 55" Smart LED HDTV 240Hz, why does it show 120Hz when you view the details? Why is advertisment misleading or wrong?

Model # FH6200

And which Samsung TV will be sold? I know I will be upset with WalMart for advertising the 240Hz and not having it available if that is the case.

This is not a Walmart issue, it's a Samsung issue. Samsung brands a lot of their 120Hz TVs as 240Hz because of their CMR technology. A CMR 120Hz TV is supposed to look as good as a "real" 240Hz. The jury is out on whether that's true or not, however most agree that they do better than a non CMR 120Hz TV.
