I just checked with Straight Talk and the rep I spoke with told me that they will not expire. It also says something to that effect in the terms of service.

My apologies. I misinterpreted your question.

padreloco is correct. However, I'm not sure how long you can keep an unactivated card before it expires. I'm assuming that it will never expire but I'd check with Straight Talk to make sure.

Yes, the service card will expire in either 30- or 60- days depending on the amount of data you purchase. Here are your choices and when they expire:

1 GB for $15 to be used within 30-days

2 GB for $25 to be used within 30-days

4 GB for $40 to be used within 60-days

5 GB for $50 to be used within 60-days

7 GB for $75 to be used within 60-days

It is a "whichever come first" situation. For example, if you purchase the 7 GB card for $75, even though it says it expires in 60-days, if you use the 7 GB in a week, then the card expires at that point.

Yes, the service cards will expire. Here are the cards that are available and when they expire:

1 GB for $15 to be used within 30-days

2 GB for $25 to be used within 30-days

4 GB for $40 to be used within 60-days

5 GB for $50 to be used within 60-days

7 GB for $75 to be used within 60-days

It's a "whichever comes first" situation. For instance, if you purchase the 7 GB card, even though it will be good for 60-days, if you go through 7 GB in three days, then it expires at that time.

They can be bought right online or in some stores. Make sure you purchase a card that has an amount of data on it. 2GB is $25, 4GB is $40 and 5GB is $50. I did the $50 one because it gives you 60 days to use it before it expires. Hope this helps!

Same thing here, but I found out that when you see no DNS server your GB's are used up. I had a card on reserve, but it does not start up when you use up your data, it starts when the last data card expires. That needs to be fixed, though I was shocked at how fast I went through 1 GB. I just changed over from Verizon MiFi 2200 which is a slow unit, but I never used more than 2 GB a month. This unit is much faster and you can use up a lot of data in a short time. Stay away from Videos if you are trying to save money. If you use up your data you also will have to call StraightTalk to access your reserve, so putting a plan in reserve or having auto pay is not worth it for this unit. Just keep a card handy, so you can call when your internet stops.

Are you using a VPN, router, or OpenDNS? How is your device configured? This device is available in select Walmart stores. Select a store based on the ones closest to you and input the the zip code on the Walmart.com web site. Keep trying until you locate the device.

I hope this helps!

I'm not a Walmart employee but if you are within the 15-day exchange period, you can take it to a Walmart store to exchange even if you purchased it online.

It appears to be currently available online and I see that many Walmart stores have them in stock.

is $45 unlimited card unlimited ?

Where are you seeing a $45 card that says unlimited for 60-days that works on this device? None of the cards for this device will say "unlimited." I don't see any card for this hotspot priced at $45 ...?

Again, the $45 Unlimited card is for PHONES only and will provide unlimited access to the web but the speed will be throttled back when 2.5 GB is reached. It will NOT work with this hotspot.

I don't know. I bought the $15 for a months service. Don't use it that much to find out if I will run out. The $45 is for 60 days, and it it says unlimited, it should be so.

answer 3
The $45 Unlimited service card does not apply to this device. The $45 Unlimited card is for phones only.

This device will use service cards dedicated to this device only. They are:

1. $15 for 1 GB which must be used within 30 days
2. $25 for 2 GB which must be used within 30 days
3. $40 for 4 GB which must be used within 60 days
4. $50 for 5 GB which must be used within 60 days
5. $75 for 7 GB which must be used within 60 days

You are prepaying (in advance) for a set amount of data. Unfortunately, there is no option for unlimited data.

deb, if I'm understanding your question correctly, no, it has nothing to do with your cell phone. It's not a booster for your cell phone signal nor does it help your cell phone to get a better connection. This device provides a wireless internet connection (WiFi) for your other devices such as a laptop, tablet, smartphone, iPad, etc.

The only relationship it may have to your cell phone is if you want to connect your smartphone to wifi in order to use the internet.

Unfortunately, no. Here are the length of time the cards are good for:

1 GB for $15 to be used within 30-days

2 GB for $25 to be used within 30-days

4 GB for $40 to be used within 60-days

5 GB for $50 to be used within 60-days

7 GB for $75 to be used within 60-days

It will be a "whichever comes first" situation.
