Throw it away after it has been used. Don't keep a soaked pea pad in your house.

My Dog Weighs Alot More But I Have Found That When I'm Away For A Long Period Of Time, It Holds Alot For His Weight. I Would Think That With Your Pet, It Would Work Great & Would Not Have To Be Changed Alot, Unless You Prefer To Change Sooner Because Of Length Of Time. Bottom Line, I'm Very Pleased With How The Urine Is Held In The Pad With A Good Backing Supporting The Floor/Carpet.

These Pads Have Not Kept My Puppy From Not Wanting To Go Outside. He Will Go Outside & When Inside He Will Use The Pads. I Guess I Have Been Blessed That It Has Worked Out Both Ways For Me. I'm Just So Happy That When I'm Not Home, He Is Attracted By The Scent Of The Pads & Always Using Them In The Middle Of The Pad. I Have Used Cheaper Pads That Also Have A Scent To Attract My Puppy, But Saw That He Would Not Always Use Them In The Middle; He Would Use Them Halfway On & Off The Pad Sometimes. So I Guess The Scent Is Stronger To Draw Him To The Middle. Hope This Input Helps!

answer 4
First you train the pup to go on the pad. Then you gradually move the pad from indoors to the outdoor area where you want the dog to go. Then you wean the dog off the pad, so it learns to go outside. The whole idea of the pad is to protect your floor while you train your animal. If your dog already wants to go outside, let him.

answer 5
Not in my case. Puppies seem to prefer going outside and do so even if you use the pads. That is why I like them. I have a leg disability and cannot always take the pup out (4 1/2 months now). So he does both and is quite good about the pad when I cannot let him out.

Not at all. The puppies know that inside they use the pad, outside they use the grass.

I Have Been Very Pleased By The Scent Used To Atrract My Puppy. In Fact I Have Used Other Pads With A Scent; But These Pads Seen To Have A Stronger/Different Scent That Works GREAT With My Puppy. I Hope You Find That It Works As Well For You As It Has For Me. My Puppy Uses The Center Of The Pad As With Others, He Would Use The Pad, But In All Different Places. Sometimes, Half On & Half Off The Pad. With These Always In The Middle. GOOD LUCK! Bottom Line, Yes, They Have A Scent That My Puppy Is Very Drawn To. Again, Good Luck!
