Yes they do! I prefer the GH guitar, but my friends prefer the RB. Doesn't matter, you can use them both.

The singing is much better on GHWT than on rockband. The song selection is much better.

I don't believe so. Rock Band and Guitar Hero instruments don't play nice together because of all that jazz about being competitors and all. I HEARD some of the newer versions of Guitar Hero would be able to play Rock Band games too but so far it's only been a rumor. Sorry.

What does "older xbox unit" mean? If you have an original xbox, then no this will not work on it as this is for an xbox 360.

If you have an xbox 360 then yes, this will work on it no matter how old your xbox 360 is.

I don't think so. I haven't had any problems just remeber it's a toy made from plastic. Overdue it it can break or not work. I have had 3 guitar hero guitars and they all work fine, the drums for this one works fine just don't hit it really hard.
