Looking for Answers about Storkcraft Storkcraft - Bowback Glider Rocker and Ottoman Cherry Finish, Beige Cushions?

From the floor 14 inches. The seat is 17 inches. Love this chair. Originally, I didn't think I could fit the ottoman in my small bedroom, but it fit and I just love it.

My chair arrived! The height/width numbers were reversed on the published specs. It is indeed about 14" HIGH and 21" WIDE - perfect!

I'm still confused, having gotten 2 different answers. But I ordered it anyway - after I get it, I will measure it and pass on the correct information!

I can't see that they would be washable the way you mean. I plan on spot cleaning and cleaning it the way I just did my sofa. I took Resolve upholstery spray, sprayed and rubbed several times with a clean wet (wrung-out) sponge. Kept rinsing and using the sponge until I got as much dirt and soap out as I could - works pretty well. I just did a section at a time as my strength would allow (I'm a senior citizen).

you can completly remove the cushions and wash them. I will say that yes it may get dirty in this color, to be honest the color is like Ash

You have to put in 8 screws to attach the bottom to chair. VERY, VERY SIMPLE AND EASY. I'm a weak senior lady and had no problems.

You have to attach the back and the arms only. It comes with the screws and tool. It's quick and easy! The ottoman and the bottom of the chair are pre-assembled. I actually enjoyed putting it together. It's a really nice chair.

Surprisingly, the seat is web construction under the seat cushion - not typical in this price range and the seat cushion itself is dense foam. It sits quite well, actually. The chair back "slats" are actually spindles (round) and are made out of the same wood (unidentified foreign softwood species, but comparable to SPF (spruce/pine/fir)in density and have a nice "give" to them making it comfortable). That is good if you treat the chair with "respect" as I would treat any furniture, but bad if you have unruly children or adults who flop themselves down in a chair -- as it would be bad for any type of furniture - but fatal for softwood construction.

No there are springs under the seat cushion. The rest of the chair is all wood tho, the back behind the cushion is round wood slats

Other websites give this product model a 275 pound weight limit. Walmart probably just doesn't want to post it on the site for fear people may not buy it.

When chairs do not come with a printed weight restriction they have a 250 lb implied one in the U.S. or for U.S. sale according to a local furniture store. However, having said that and building custom hardwood furniture myself (cherry, walnut, maple, etc.) I would realize that with any bearing-in-soft-wood construction (pine and foreign (China, etc.) soft woods) I personally would restrict use to 200 lbs or under if you expect it to last a while. Many things will "hold" the weight, but will loosen with age and movement - especially when using woods almost all but custom manufacturers use nowadays.

My husband is a real big guy about 230 and my son is 25 lbs now and they never have issues. We've had the chair for a year and a half and it is still great. They only negative is that the seat padding is worn down a lot and if you sit there too long it starts to hurt.

No, this chair doesn't recline.. but with the ottoman it's still comfortable even upright.
